Overview

What the Bit2Me Card is

Bit2Me has been operating since 2014 and describes itself as the first Spanish fintech to obtain a MiCA licence. Its Mastercard is issued and managed by Pecunia Cards EDE (Pecunpay), an Electronic Money Institution supervised by the Bank of Spain, with Bit2Me operating the crypto side and the app. That separation is spelled out on the card page, which is a level of clarity many cards in this sector avoid.

Cashback built on tiers

Cashback is where this card stands out, and it is explicitly a tier system rather than a flat rate: the rate rises with your Space Center level, reaching up to 7% on all purchases, with a monthly cap that scales too - from EUR7.50 at level 1 up to EUR300 at level 7. Bit2Me claims up to 39% total cashback when the card is combined with its other products: up to 7% from the card, up to 7% extra from Earn when linked to a stablecoin, and up to 25% extra from Bit2Me Life at more than ten merchants.

Fees in the open

The fee table is unusually detailed for the category. Virtual card issuance is always free, physical issuance is free at levels 5 to 7 and otherwise EUR5 to EUR20. There is no monthly maintenance fee and no activation or cancellation fee. Paying in euros with a linked euro wallet costs nothing, while a linked crypto wallet carries a 0.95% transaction and refund fee. International payments cost 1.75% within non-euro SEPA areas and 2% worldwide, with EUR300 of free ATM withdrawals per month.

How the tiers work

Because the cashback rate, physical card price and monthly cap all move with your Space Center level, the effective value of this card depends on how much B2M you hold and how you use the platform. Someone at level 7 gets free physical issuance and 7% cashback capped at EUR300 a month; someone at level 0 gets no cashback and pays EUR20 for a physical card.

Bit2Me pays one of the highest cashback rates in Europe, capped per month and tied to your Space Center level. The Bitsa Card is the other Spanish option, though its rewards come through gift cards rather than cashback, and the Brighty Card pairs a card with IBAN accounts instead of an exchange balance. Our Best Crypto Cards listing compares all three.

Supported Cryptocurrencies

Supported assets

Bit2Me supports dozens of currencies on the card, with the full list published on its support pages. Bitcoin, Ethereum and major stablecoins such as USDT and USDC are the practical choices, and you can change the wallet the card spends from whenever you want.

How spending works

You link the wallet you want the card to draw on and then use it like a normal debit card. Spending from a linked crypto wallet carries a 0.95% transaction fee, while a linked euro wallet costs nothing to spend from - but remember that euro spending earns no cashback under the Space Center scheme, so there is a direct trade-off between paying a fee to earn rewards and spending for free without them.

Earning on stablecoins

Linking the card to a stablecoin through Bit2Me Earn is advertised as adding up to 7% extra on purchases, which is how the headline 39% figure is constructed. That yield depends on Earn's own terms and rates rather than on the card itself, so read it as a combined-product claim rather than a card feature.
