Bio

Neeraj Khandelwal is Co-Founder of CoinDCX and Co-Founder of Astrobase Space Technologies, an IIT Bombay alumnus whose engineering background shaped CoinDCX's early technical and product architecture. Alongside Sumit Gupta, he co-founded CoinDCX in 2018 to provide Indian retail and institutional users with a regulated, feature-rich crypto trading platform.

Within CoinDCX, Khandelwal played a key role in product development including the Okto Web3 SDK and wallet infrastructure. Okto, a chain-abstraction and embedded-wallet product that emerged from CoinDCX, targets developers building Web3 applications; Khandelwal's formal role in Okto as of August 2026 should be verified against current company sources. In 2024, he co-founded Astrobase Space Technologies, a separate venture outside the crypto sector.

In March 2026, Khandelwal and Sumit Gupta were arrested in an investigation involving alleged impersonation fraud, then granted bail after the magistrate found no prima facie case against them. The final case status should be independently verified before reliance.
