What Volet.com is
Volet.com is a multi-currency e-wallet that has been operating for more than a decade, previously under the AdvCash name, and now reports over 10 million users across 180 countries and around three million transactions a month. Its cards extend that wallet rather than standing alone: you hold USD, EUR and major cryptocurrencies in the account, then move fiat onto a card and spend it.
Four card variants, priced differently
Volet sells cards by region rather than by tier. The digital global Mastercard costs $5, works in over 150 countries and allows single purchases up to $50,000. The APAC plastic Mastercard also costs $5 and targets the Asia-Pacific region with a $6,500 daily load ceiling. The Europe virtual card costs $1 and the Europe plastic card $5, both available on Visa and Mastercard in USD or EUR, and both fee-free at the point of sale.
How the pricing really works
The card itself is cheap; loading it is where the cost sits. Wallet-to-card loads run at 2.5% plus $1 on the digital global card, 1.5% plus $1 on the APAC plastic card, and 1% plus 1 USD/EUR on the Europe cards. Because Volet loads cards only from its own wallet, the funding path is: top up the wallet (crypto top-ups into crypto wallets are free, USDT or USDC auto-conversion costs $1, card top-ups cost 3.5%), then load the card. On the positive side there is no separate FX markup on the global digital card - conversion simply uses the Mastercard rate, which is unusual in this segment.
Who it suits
Volet is a practical choice for anyone already holding crypto or USD/EUR in an e-wallet who wants a cheap card without rewards gimmicks. There is no cashback anywhere in the product, Apple Pay and Google Pay support varies by card rather than being universal, and only the plastic cards withdraw cash. It is an established, transparent utility rather than a rewards play.
Volet, the e-wallet formerly known as AdvCash, issues regional Visa and Mastercard cards for $1 to $5 that load instantly from the wallet balance. Odix follows the same fund-and-spend model inside its app, and Multicards covers a wider range of regions. The crypto cards directory lists their availability.
