What Mobilum is
Mobilum Technologies is a publicly listed fintech group (CSE: MBLM) founded in 2017 and headquartered in Vancouver, which bridges traditional finance and crypto through regulated entities in Poland, the US and Canada. Its consumer product is a Mastercard debit card that converts cryptocurrencies to fiat at the moment of payment, backed by accounts in EUR, USD and PLN. The same group also runs Mobilum Pay, a wallet and buy-crypto service, and a white-label card programme that lets other companies issue their own co-branded Mastercard products.
Regulation, which is the card's main strength
Mobilum operates through a Polish Payment Institution licence (MIP118/2021) supervised by the KNF, a Polish VASP registration, and money services business registrations with FinCEN in the United States and FINTRAC in Canada. Independent trackers reviewing the card in mid-2026 found no reported hack, withdrawal freeze or regulatory action against it, and rated its transparency highly. That is a stronger licensing picture than most crypto cards in this segment, and it is why the card sits in the second tier despite limited user feedback.
The card and what it costs
The card comes in virtual and physical versions, works with Apple Pay and Google Pay, and is accepted anywhere Mastercard is, with sanctions-related exceptions. It supports more than 50 cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and SOL. The trade-offs are a custodial wallet - funds sit with the group rather than in your own keys, and full KYC is mandatory - and no cashback at all, while an FX markup of up to 2.5% and ATM withdrawals at 2% plus a flat fee make foreign spending and cash access expensive.
Where the reviews stand
Public feedback is thin and lukewarm: a Trustpilot score of 2.7 from nine reviews and an App Store rating of 3.0 from ten reviews. Those samples are far too small to be conclusive, but they are not a positive signal either, and the corporate focus has shifted toward licensing software in other areas, so the card's roadmap - including the credit card still listed as coming soon - is worth watching rather than assuming.
Mobilum converts crypto to fiat at the moment of payment and holds EUR, USD and PLN accounts under the same login. The Bitwala Card follows the same model with euros and crypto in one place, and the Brighty Card adds IBAN accounts for three currencies plus USDC cashback. The crypto card directory compares the account features.
