What KuCard is
KuCard is the payment card attached to a KuCoin account, issued on Visa and available to European Economic Area residents. It spends 54 cryptocurrencies directly, with EUR as the fiat currency, converting at the point of sale, so the balance you already hold on the exchange becomes spendable without a withdrawal step. Applications go through the standard KuCoin identity checks, and the virtual card is live as soon as you are approved - no waiting for plastic.
Cashback is real but tiered
The headline is up to 8.5% cashback on every purchase, which is among the highest advertised rates in this directory. The mechanics matter more than the headline: rewards are issued as points rather than cash, the earn rate and redemption value both scale with KuCoin's VIP levels, and the entry-level rate is around 1%. Independent trackers note that cashback rates are not guaranteed and may change, and that the EEA programme redeems points into USDC at a fixed reference rate. For a VIP 0 user the card behaves like a roughly 1% cashback card; the higher rates reward users who trade enough on KuCoin to climb tiers.
Fees and access
There is no annual fee, and KuCoin's page states there are no hidden fees, with ATM cash withdrawal supported. Independent card trackers list a card issuance fee of around $10, a replacement fee of around $10, a 2% FX fee on non-EUR spending, and ATM fees of €2 within the EEA or 2% plus €2 internationally - plus whatever the ATM operator charges. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported, and referring a friend pays 10 USDC.
Availability
The card is restricted to EEA citizens and residents, excluding Malta, and requires an EEA-issued ID or passport for verification. That makes it one of the more tightly scoped cards in this directory, but also one of the few from a top-10 global exchange with a physical card and ATM access rather than a virtual-only product.
KuCard spends 54 cryptocurrencies and EUR straight from a KuCoin balance and is issued for the EEA, so it competes head-on with the Gate Card and the MEXC Card. The difference is in how each charges for conversions outside the base currency, and the crypto cards directory sets out the fee tables.
