Uniswap V4 Now Leads Tokenized Stocks by TVL: Data

Uniswap V4 leads tokenized stocks by total value locked as on-chain asset activity grows.

Summary :

  • Uniswap V4 holds $59.1M in tokenized stock deposits, the category lead.

  • Kamino Lend follows at $41.7M, Uniswap V3 at $20.9M.

  • Three venues hold 63% of the $192.6M total tokenized stock DeFi TVL.

  • Robinhood and xStocks issuances make up 71% of deposited value.

  • Only about 9% of issued tokenized equities sit in DeFi venues.

Uniswap V4 is now the largest venue in crypto's smallest interesting market. The protocol's pools hold $59.1 million in tokenized stocks deposits as of Sept. 6 per Token Terminal's snapshot, ranking it first among DeFi venues for a category whose total deposits stand at just $192.6 million. One venue holding nearly a third of a sector is either dominance or a warning. It is both.

"Tokenized stocks deposited into Uniswap V4 total $59.1M, making it the largest DeFi venue for the category. Kamino Lend follows at $41.7M and Uniswap V3 at $20.9M. Together, the three venues account for 63% of total tokenized stock DeFi TVL." — Token Terminal (@tokenterminal), September 5, 2026

What the tokenized stocks numbers reveal

The concentration story runs deeper than venues. Kamino Lend's $41.7 million is lending collateral, not swap liquidity, meaning synthetic stock tokens are now being borrowed against, a genuinely new risk vector. By issuer, Robinhood's stock tokens contribute $73.1 million of deposited value and xStocks $63.9 million, together 71% of the category. Strip those two out and the market barely exists. Solana hosts $79.1 million of the deposits, the largest chain total, with Robinhood Chain's Ethereum L2 carrying the issuer-side expansion. FWDI and SPYx are the biggest individual assets, and tokenized QQQ drove a 288% jump in tokenized stock DEX volume in July.

The gap that matters is the one between issuance and use. Total tokenized equities issued sit near $2.2 billion per CoinShares and Token Terminal estimates, against global equity markets above $100 trillion, and only about 9% of what has been issued actually lands in DeFi venues. The idle-RWA problem Falcon flagged shows up here in miniature: most tokens are bought and held in wallets, not deployed. The RWA sector grew from $2.3 billion to $7.4 billion between Q2 2025 and Q2 2026, with spot volume up 220%, so the direction is not in doubt. The depth is.

Why concentration is the real story

Here is the uncomfortable read for anyone bullish on decentralized equities. The category that markets itself as the future of stock trading is an duopoly of issuers feeding three protocols, and the legal structures underneath vary wildly: some tokens give 1:1 price exposure, others are debt instruments with no voting or dividend rights, and issuers like AMC are actively fighting the unauthorized versions. A synthetic debt-claim token accepted as Kamino collateral is a hidden legal exposure that surfaces only when an equity market halts or an issuer freezes transfers. When the AMC dispute showed how little legal certainty these products carry, the concentration numbers stopped being a strength statistic and started being a fragility one.

Watch two things: whether the $192.6 million doubles before the disputes get resolved, and whether Payward's plan to tokenize the top 100 London-listed equities, with the LSE's planned support via a venue provisionally called LSE 24, brings exchange-issued tokens with real legal claims. The day an issuer-backed token with actual shareholder mechanics lands in Uniswap V4, the category stops being a synthetic casino and starts being infrastructure. Until then, $59.1 million is the size of the experiment, and the experiment is running on borrowed legal certainty.
