Ripple Swell 2026 begins its scheduled October 27–29 run in New York with XRP branding extending beyond the conference venue and into the city’s subway. Reports describe advertisements on trains and in station areas around Manhattan’s 42nd Street, featuring white XRP logos against black backgrounds and the slogan “Crypto Responsibly.”
The timing puts XRP in front of a broader audience while Ripple brings financial executives, developers and researchers to The Shed in Hudson Yards.
For readers following the event, two developments deserve separate attention: the public advertising campaign and the products, partnerships and technical work presented at Swell. They serve different purposes—and offer different evidence of progress.

Ripple’s official Swell website lists more than 100 speakers, over 80 sessions and three stages, with expected attendance exceeding 1,500.
These are organizer-published figures. They describe the planned event, rather than independently verified attendance or completed presentations.

This year’s format combines Swell with Apex and UBRI Connect, bringing the XRP Ledger’s developer community and university research network into the same gathering.
The lineup includes Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Bullish Chairman and CEO Tom Farley, Water.org co-founders Matt Damon and Gary White, Robinhood executive Johann Kerbrat and BNY markets executive Laide Majiyagbe.
That mix reflects the breadth of the program: financial infrastructure, access to digital assets, payments and research. A speaker’s participation, however, should not be read as an announcement that their organization has adopted XRP.
What Is Known About the Subway Campaign?
Coinpaper and U.Today report that social-media footage shows XRP advertisements on subway cars and within station areas. Their descriptions include American flags alongside the XRP logo and responsible-crypto messaging.
The reviewed reporting does not establish who commissioned the campaign, how much it cost, how long it will run or how many trains and stations it covers.
The strongest supported description is therefore that XRP branding has appeared in parts of New York’s subway system. Claims of a citywide takeover go beyond the documented scope.
The slogan also appears prominently on XRP.org, where the asset is presented around payments and practical blockchain applications. The matching message connects the advertisements to XRP’s public branding, but does not independently identify the advertising buyer.
The Business Announcements Deserve Equal Attention
Alongside the conference publicity, Ripple published an October 26 announcement introducing additional corporate treasury capabilities.
Its Ripple Treasury release describes tools intended to coordinate cash positioning, forecasting, reconciliation, liquidity management and payments with AI-assisted workflows.
The company also introduced “24/7 Returns,” which it says allows eligible corporate customers to earn returns on qualifying digital assets, including RLUSD, subject to program requirements.
These are company-announced capabilities. Their commercial significance will depend on customer use, operating results and the applicable terms.
They also illustrate why readers should distinguish Ripple’s business from XRP itself. A treasury service involving RLUSD does not automatically require customers to purchase XRP.
Bitnxt’s coverage of Binance’s RLUSD rewards campaign provides another example of that distinction: a stablecoin balance, an XRP reward and the service offering them each play different roles.
What XRP Holders Should Watch During Swell
The most useful announcements will explain how a product works and where XRP fits into it.
For example, a payments partnership becomes more informative when the parties disclose whether it is live, which markets it serves and whether XRP is used in settlement. A tokenization announcement is easier to assess when it identifies the issuer, holder rights and actual availability.
XRP.org explains that XRP is the XRP Ledger’s native asset and is used to pay network transaction fees. It also distinguishes XRP from shares in Ripple and from stablecoins.
That means growth across Ripple’s wider product portfolio can matter to the ecosystem without producing an equivalent increase in token demand. Each development needs its own assessment.
Bitnxt View: Visibility Opens the Conversation; Usage Sustains It
Our view is that the subway campaign gives XRP a recognizable presence outside crypto’s usual online audience. Swell creates an opportunity to turn that attention into a clearer explanation of what businesses and developers can actually use.
The more consequential story is whether the event produces measurable progress: live services, disclosed customers, repeat transactions and practical improvements in settlement or liquidity management.
Bitnxt’s earlier reporting on Ripple Prime’s leveraged stock ETF financing business examined a specific commercial activity. That is a useful standard for assessing Swell announcements: identify the service, the customer and the source of value.
The advertisements can make XRP familiar. The work presented inside Swell must explain why that familiarity should translate into lasting use.
