Binance Announces 600,000 XRP Reward Pool for Eligible RLUSD Holders

Binance’s latest RLUSD promotion begins October 23. The headline reward pool is straightforward, but individual payouts depend on eligibility, qualifying balances and campaign terms.

Binance RLUSD Rewards: 600,000 XRP Campaign Explained

Key Takeaways

  • Eligible Binance users can share a 600,000 XRP promotional pool.
  • The campaign runs from October 23 to November 20, 2026, beginning and ending at 00:00 UTC—5:30 a.m. IST.
  • Supported balances include Spot, Funding, qualifying Earn and Margin accounts.
  • Users need identity verification, participation confirmation and qualifying holdings; regional restrictions apply.
  • Weekly rewards depend on balance calculations and a variable effective APR.

Binance RLUSD rewards: the details behind the announcement

The Binance RLUSD rewards campaign gives eligible customers an opportunity to receive XRP for maintaining qualifying Ripple USD balances on the exchange.

For readers, the first distinction is between the total promotional allocation and a personal entitlement. The headline figure describes the shared pool. It does not tell an individual account holder how much they will receive.

The practical questions are therefore about eligibility, the balance counted by the exchange and the final distribution calculation. A small qualifying holding should not be confused with a meaningful guaranteed payout.

What users need to check

Binance specifies a minimum holding of 0.01 RLUSD, although its snapshot notes also say supported balances must exceed that threshold to enter the calculation. Users should avoid relying on an exactly threshold-sized balance.

The exchange uses net assets, excludes borrowed RLUSD liabilities and bases each day’s qualifying amount on the lowest balance recorded in hourly snapshots. Distributions go to eligible master-account Spot wallets. The first is scheduled for October 30, followed by November 6, 13 and 20.

These mechanics make the campaign different from an airdrop based on a single historical snapshot.

As an illustrative example, consider a customer whose balance falls sharply during one day before being replenished. Under a daily-minimum approach, the later deposit does not automatically restore the qualifying amount for that entire day.

That is why a displayed account balance and a reward-eligible balance can differ.

A quoted APR would not be the return for four weeks

The campaign’s effective APR is updated for each distribution period rather than established as a fixed return for the full promotion.

APR is an annualised measure. It should not be read as the percentage a customer earns during a short campaign.

For illustration only, a hypothetical 10% annual rate applied to a $1,000 balance for seven days produces roughly $1.92 before other adjustments:

$1,000 × 10% × 7 ÷ 365 ≈ $1.92

That example is not a Binance forecast. It simply shows why an attractive annualised number can translate into a much smaller amount over one week.

The reward asset introduces another consideration. Once received, XRP has its own market price. Its subsequent dollar value can change independently of the stablecoin balance used to qualify.

Bitnxt’s explanation of stablecoin yield and who pays the interest examines why promotional incentives, lending income and protocol rewards need separate treatment.

RLUSD and XRP serve different purposes

RLUSD is Ripple’s dollar-backed stablecoin. Ripple says its reserves consist of U.S. dollars and other cash equivalents held in segregated accounts.

Its transparency page identifies Standard Custody as the issuer, supervised by the New York State Department of Financial Services as a limited-purpose trust company. Ripple also publishes independent monthly reserve attestations.

Those reserve arrangements concern the backing of RLUSD. They do not establish a guaranteed XRP reward, protect XRP’s market price or determine Binance’s treatment of an individual account.

For a participant, there are two separate exposures to understand: the asset being held and the token being received.

Reserve transparency also answers a different question from exchange custody. An issuer’s backing information does not, on its own, explain how an exchange account operates or what contractual rights apply to a customer using that exchange.

The new campaign follows an earlier promotion

Binance previously announced an RLUSD holding campaign with a $800,000 reward pool paid in XRP, running from September 25 until October 23.

The distinction in units matters: that earlier announcement described a dollar-denominated pool, whereas the new promotion specifies a number of XRP tokens.

The two headline figures cannot be compared directly without an XRP valuation and a clearly defined measurement time.

That is also why combining them into a single “total rewards” figure would be misleading. They are separate campaigns with their own announcements and conditions.

What Indian readers should verify first

An IST schedule makes the timing easier to follow, but it does not establish eligibility for every India-based account.

Customers should inspect the current campaign page while signed in and confirm whether their account can participate. Product availability, verification status and account restrictions can affect access.

Before acquiring or transferring RLUSD specifically for the promotion, a useful calculation is:

Expected reward minus trading costs, transfer costs and any borrowing expense.

Where the expected reward is unknown, a customer cannot responsibly treat the transaction as a certain profit.

Keeping assets on an exchange also involves a different custody arrangement from holding private keys personally. Bitnxt’s guide to hot wallets, cold wallets and custody choices explains those distinctions.

Bitnxt’s view: judge the account-level outcome

Bitnxt’s assessment: This campaign is most relevant to readers already evaluating RLUSD holdings on Binance. Its usefulness depends on what an eligible customer can realistically receive after costs and conditions.

The promotion may encourage customers to maintain balances, but that incentive alone does not demonstrate lasting stablecoin adoption or predict XRP demand.

For readers, the strongest approach is to verify participation, understand the qualifying calculation and review the eventual distribution record. That produces a clearer assessment than treating the shared reward pool as a personal opportunity of the same size.
