Fuzzybear Price Jumps 70% Weekly as XRPL Token Rallies

Key Takeaways

  • Fuzzybear gained more than 70% over seven days, with its daily advance approaching 50%.
  • CoinGecko showed a market capitalization near $24.5 million and approximately $1.04 million in daily trading volume.
  • The token’s ticker is FUZZY, and its identity draws on an early XRP Ledger wallet.
  • Trading liquidity deserves close attention: market capitalization does not measure how much money holders can withdraw.

Fuzzybear Price Rally Brings Fresh Attention to XRPL Trading

The Fuzzybear price rally accelerated on October 20, with CoinGecko displaying a seven-day gain of approximately 73.5%. The XRP Ledger-based memecoin traded around $0.00007713 during the research snapshot.

Its headline quote showed a 48.7% daily increase, while the performance table displayed 50.2%, illustrating how different sections of a live market page can refresh at different moments. The consistent picture was a substantial daily advance.

The move puts a relatively small token under a brighter spotlight. It also creates a familiar challenge for readers: separating a verified price change from explanations that have yet to be established.

The available data confirms stronger trading activity. It does not, by itself, establish who bought, whether large holders accumulated, or what triggered the rally.

The Story Behind the Bear

Fuzzybear’s identity rests on an episode from the XRP Ledger’s early years.

The project’s website traces its name to a wallet activated on February 21, 2013, with funding from an OpenCoin address. It also points to a January 1, 2014 decentralized-exchange order offering one XRP for one BTC.

These events form the project’s stated origin story. An order at a particular exchange rate does not establish that a trade completed at that rate, and the old wallet’s history should not be confused with the launch date of the modern memecoin.

That distinction matters. A historical reference can give a community a recognizable identity, but it does not automatically create financial rights, revenue or support from the organizations mentioned in the story.

The project has also developed collectibles. Its Fuzzycards page describes 5,890 booster packs, with NFT redemption for physical packs containing five cards each. These are project-described features; they do not establish that token holders receive a share of collectible sales.

Market Cap and Liquidity Tell Different Stories

A rising valuation attracts attention. Liquidity helps determine what happens when that attention turns into trading.

GeckoTerminal’s separate FUZZY/XRP snapshot showed approximately $1.88 million in pool liquidity, alongside about $882,000 in 24-hour volume. Its quote differed slightly from CoinGecko’s, so the figures should be treated as separate observations rather than combined into one synchronized dataset.

Market capitalization multiplies a token’s quoted price by its circulating supply. It does not mean an equivalent amount of cash entered the market, nor that every holder could sell at the displayed price.

Pool liquidity is different again. A large trade can change the pool’s balance and move the execution price, creating slippage. The practical question is how much can be traded near the quoted price—not simply how large the valuation appears.

Bitnxt’s guide to checking a crypto token before buying provides a useful framework for examining token identity, liquidity and other project details.

An XRPL Token Is a Separate Asset From XRP

FUZZY operates on the XRP Ledger, but it is distinct from XRP, the network’s native asset.

XRPL documentation distinguishes native XRP from tokens issued on the ledger. Sharing blockchain infrastructure does not make two assets economically interchangeable.

Bitnxt View: Watch What Remains After the Price Spike

Fuzzybear’s advance is a clear market development. Whether it becomes a durable expansion in participation remains an open question.

Our view is that follow-through matters more than a single percentage gain. Sustained trading, deeper liquidity and participation that extends beyond a brief burst of attention would offer a stronger basis for judging the move.

The token’s historical narrative helps explain its branding. It should not substitute for examining its present market structure.
