Jaipur, India, October 29, 2026 – With just one day remaining, Bitmela 2026 (Edition 01) is preparing to welcome Bitcoin innovators, artificial intelligence entrepreneurs, legal experts, investors and financial technology builders to InterContinental Jaipur on October 30–31, 2026. As an official media partner, Bitnxt is spotlighting the prominent voices and international perspectives that will shape the two-day festival, which brings together discussions on Bitcoin, AI, privacy, financial regulation, entrepreneurship and the future of money.
The inaugural edition aims to go beyond the traditional conference format, combining expert discussions and thought-provoking debates with hands-on workshops, product demonstrations, live startup pitches and community experiences. The festival will unfold across two stages, the Cake Stage and Bitshala Stage, followed by evening celebrations designed to encourage meaningful connections between participants.
Global Entrepreneurs and Innovators Take the Spotlight
Among the prominent names heading to Jaipur is Kunal Kapoor, the actor, entrepreneur, angel investor and co-founder of crowdfunding platform Ketto. His scheduled fireside conversation with Bitmela's Anuja Chokshi will explore perspectives drawn from his entrepreneurial and investment journey.
Joining him is Vik Sharma, founder and CEO of Cake Wallet, a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet focused on user control and privacy. His session, How to Win Big Across a Whole Career, will explore entrepreneurship, long-term thinking and lessons learned from building businesses across different industries.
AI innovation will be another major theme, with Prasanna Sankar, founder of Vorflux and former co-founder and CTO of Rippling, discussing whether artificial intelligence could trigger a new era of economic transformation. His session, Will AI Bring Back the Roaring Twenties?, will examine the possibilities and challenges created by rapid AI adoption.
Together, these speakers bring perspectives from technology entrepreneurship, investing and artificial intelligence to conversations about how emerging technologies could reshape the global financial landscape.
Bitcoin Regulation, Privacy and Financial Freedom
India's evolving cryptocurrency regulatory landscape will also receive significant attention at Bitmela 2026.
The legal programme includes a discussion titled The Verdict That Made Crypto Banking Legal, examining India's landmark 2020 Supreme Court ruling overturning the Reserve Bank of India's restrictions on banking services for cryptocurrency businesses.
The conversation draws attention to the work of prominent legal professionals, including Dr. Nishith Desai, founder of Nishith Desai Associates, and Suril Desai, a lawyer at the firm with extensive experience in Bitcoin and digital asset matters. The current programme lists Suril Desai, Vaibhav Parikh and Unocoin co-founder Harish BV for the discussion.
Privacy and self-custody will be another central focus, with Seth for Privacy, Chief Operating Officer of Cake Wallet, exploring the practical implications of adopting artificial intelligence while maintaining financial and digital privacy. He will also lead a hands-on introductory privacy workshop for attendees.
Adding a perspective on Indian cryptocurrency adoption, Kashif Raza, founder of Bitinning and a prominent crypto educator, will participate in the discussion How Do Indians Feel About Bitcoin?, examining public attitudes toward Bitcoin across the country.
These conversations aim to connect regulatory developments, public awareness and the practical challenges of maintaining control over digital assets.
International Bitcoin Builders Bring Global Perspectives to Jaipur
Bitmela's speaker lineup extends beyond India, highlighting innovators working on real-world Bitcoin adoption, payments and community development.
Jason, co-founder of Tando, a Bitcoin payment platform serving African merchants, will participate in What Can India Learn From Africa?, sharing perspectives on making Bitcoin more practical for everyday transactions.

She will be joined by Maru, a Bitcoin self-custody educator associated with NonceLab and Bitcoin Center Seoul. Maru will lead a practical workshop with Coconut Wallet, helping participants understand the fundamentals of managing and securing their own Bitcoin.
The participation of builders from India, Africa and Asia reflects Bitmela's effort to explore how Bitcoin is being developed and used across different economic environments.
Beyond the Talks: Live Ideathon, Workshops and Festival Experiences
Beyond its speaker sessions, Bitmela 2026 will feature a live AI × Money Ideathon in which five finalist teams pitch solutions involving Bitcoin, UPI and AI-powered payments, competing for a prize pool of ₹2 lakh.
The Bitshala Stage will offer practical learning experiences, including Bitcoin fundamentals, self-custody workshops, privacy education, a hardware-wallet development hackathon and demonstrations of emerging Bitcoin products.
The festival experience will continue beyond the conference stages, with Cake Wallet's Gala Night on October 30, followed by an outdoor Mela featuring food, games, market stalls and performances on October 31.
