JAIPUR, India, November 2, 2026 — Bitasha at Bitmela showcased the Indian company's Bitcoin hardware, home mining equipment and self-custody solutions as a festival partner with an exhibition stall. The event, billed as India's first Bitcoin festival, took place on October 30–31 at InterContinental Jaipur, bringing together Bitcoin builders, entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
Bitcoin can feel abstract. Bitasha gives people something they can actually hold: home miners, hardware wallets, open-source signers and metal seed backups, sold and supported from within the country. Its tagline sums it up as “Digital. Made physical.”
On stage: mining and the Global South
Bitasha co-founder Bala moderated “Can Bitcoin Mining Power the Global South?” on the Cake Stage on the second day. The 30-minute panel looked at the economics, the policy and the path forward for mining and related business opportunities.
He was joined by Captain Hashrate, co-founder of OurPool, and Piccolo, curator of BOB Space Bangkok.
The schedule also listed Bala that afternoon for “Want to Build a Bitcoin Business? Start Here” on the Bitshala Stage, a discussion on market conditions, compliance and raising funds. It is a subject Bitasha knows first-hand as an Indian Bitcoin hardware business.
Everything from mining to backups
Bitasha organises its range around what people want to do with Bitcoin.
For home mining, it offers the open-source Bitaxe and NerdQaxe miners, and it also repairs Bitaxe units in India, even those bought elsewhere. For key storage, it carries hardware wallets including Jade, Foundation Passport and Trezor Safe. For offline signing, it offers SeedSigner, an open-source device that signs transactions without a connection.
The Foundation and Trezor links carried over to the festival, where Foundation and Trezor Academy were also partners.
A home-grown product line
Bitasha’s own designs centre on recovery. Koshh is a metal seed backup built to outlast device failure, and Koshh Tag is a smaller dog-tag version that turns a recovery phrase into a grid rather than plain words. Koshh Tag is designed and manufactured in India and starts at ₹499.
That matters to Indian buyers, who can get hardware and setup help locally instead of ordering from overseas. Bitasha operates under Outpoint Technologies Private Limited.
Rooted in India’s Bitcoin community
The company’s ties to Bitmela and the local builder scene run deep. Bala runs Latest in Bitcoin Tech, a weekly club at Bitshala, and mentors on its Bitcoin Protocol Development and Learning Bitcoin from the Command Line courses. Palash Agrawal of Bitasha was part of the team behind Bitmela itself, handling the ideathon and operations.
Home mining does not guarantee any return, and you are responsible for your own keys and recovery information. Crypto assets carry risk. This release is for information only and is not financial advice.
