About Narek Gevorgyan

Narek Gevorgyan is an Armenian software entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of CoinStats, a multi-chain crypto portfolio management, tracking and analytics platform. He launched CoinStats in 2017 in Yerevan, Armenia, after he and friends began investing in crypto and found themselves managing holdings across exchanges and wallets through spreadsheets. CoinStats developed from a simple portfolio tracker into a broader crypto portfolio management and data platform covering wallets, exchanges, DeFi positions, NFTs and on-chain assets. Under Gevorgyan's leadership, CoinStats has expanded into AI-powered crypto research, developer APIs and agent-ready data infrastructure, including an official MCP server for AI assistants. The platform currently serves approximately one million users worldwide and supports 120+ blockchains. Before CoinStats, Gevorgyan co-founded software ventures including Inomma, Bartly and OffParse. He studied Informatics and Applied Mathematics at Yerevan State University.

June 22, 2024
CoinStats experienced a security incident affecting 1,590 non-custodial CoinStats Wallets (1.3% of total), resulting in approximately $2.2M in losses. Connected wallets and CEX integrations were not impacted. CoinStats mitigated the attack and published a public security incident report on July 12, 2024.
2025–2026
Expanded CoinStats into AI-powered crypto research, a REST API for developers, and an official MCP Server providing 20+ crypto data tools for AI agents and LLM-powered applications.
August 2026
Continues as Founder & CEO of CoinStats, leading portfolio management, crypto AI, developer APIs and agent-ready data infrastructure serving approximately one million users worldwide.
