Bio
Mike Novogratz is Founder and CEO of Galaxy (Nasdaq: GLXY), a digital-asset financial services and infrastructure company listed on Nasdaq after completing a U.S. listing in 2025. Galaxy provides a range of institutional digital-asset services including asset management, trading, investment banking, staking, infrastructure services, and tokenization. Galaxy has expanded materially into data-center and AI infrastructure, including the Helios data-center campus, reflecting a strategic thesis around the convergence of onchain finance and AI compute. Galaxy is a publicly traded company — its financial results, governance, and disclosures are filed publicly.
Novogratz's pre-Galaxy career includes approximately two decades at Goldman Sachs, where he reached partner level, followed by senior roles at Fortress Investment Group as a macro investor and executive. He earned his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and is a former Army Ranger. He became a prominent public advocate for Bitcoin and crypto assets before founding Galaxy in 2018.
Galaxy is governed by its board of directors as a public company. Novogratz's predictions and commentary on Bitcoin price targets and crypto markets are his personal views and should not be treated as company guidance or objective fact. In his August 2026 CEO letter, Novogratz has argued for a convergence thesis between onchain financial infrastructure and AI/compute demand as a defining opportunity for Galaxy's strategy. Galaxy corporate positions and holdings are separate from Novogratz's personal financial profile.
