Bio
Michael Shaulov is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fireblocks, one of the leading digital asset infrastructure platforms serving financial institutions, banks and enterprises. With a background in cybersecurity and enterprise technology, Shaulov brings extensive experience building security products at scale to the institutional crypto infrastructure space.
Before Fireblocks, Shaulov co-founded Lacoon Security, a mobile security company that was acquired by Check Point Software Technologies, where he subsequently served as Head of Cloud and Mobile Product. This cybersecurity background directly informed the security-first architecture of Fireblocks, which uses Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to protect private key management without a single point of failure.
Shaulov co-founded Fireblocks in 2018 alongside Pavel Berengoltz and Idan Ofrat. Under his leadership as CEO, Fireblocks has grown into a major digital asset infrastructure provider, offering institutional wallets, custody infrastructure, Wallet-as-a-Service, stablecoin payment rails, tokenization capabilities and the Fireblocks Network. As CEO, Shaulov oversees strategy and operational leadership across all business lines. Information last checked: August 2026.
