Bio

Jason Yanowitz is the Co-Founder of Blockworks, a crypto-focused media, data, and financial information company. He co-founded Blockworks in 2018 with Michael Ippolito after earlier roles at Sisense in business development and at Intuitive Venture Partners. Blockworks began as an events and podcasting operation targeting institutional and professional crypto audiences, and has since grown to encompass news, original research, data and analytics products, and proprietary software for investment professionals.

Among Blockworks' notable properties are the Empire and Lightspeed podcasts, where Yanowitz is a regular host, and Blockworks Research, which provides paid institutional-grade crypto analysis. The company has also launched data and API products for professional investors. In July 2026, Blockworks published a Token Transparency Framework proposing structured standards for token issuer disclosures to the SEC and CFTC — an advocacy document, not a regulatory rule. As of August 2026, Yanowitz continues as co-founder and is active in editorial, podcast, and company strategy roles.
