Bio

Jack Lu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Magic Eden, a multi-chain NFT marketplace and onchain trading platform. He co-founded Magic Eden in 2021 alongside Sidney Zhang, Zhuoxun Yin and Zhuojie Zhou. His earlier career included product management roles at Google and advisory or business development roles at companies including Boston Consulting Group. Before Magic Eden, he also had roles connected to the FTX ecosystem, which collapsed in 2022 — though his current role and company are entirely separate from that history.

Magic Eden launched as a Solana NFT marketplace and quickly became the dominant NFT trading venue on that network. The platform subsequently expanded to Bitcoin Ordinals and Runes, Ethereum, and other blockchains, evolving from a single-chain NFT platform into a broader multi-chain marketplace. Magic Eden launched the ME token and an associated Foundation and DAO structure for governance. As of August 2026, Magic Eden supports fungible token trading alongside NFTs and operates the Magic Eden Wallet with cross-chain swaps and bridging functionality.
