Felix Xu is the Co-Founder and CEO of ARPA Network, a cryptographic infrastructure project focused on threshold BLS signatures and verifiable randomness, and the Co-Founder of Bella Protocol, a DeFi platform. He co-founded ARPA in 2018 with a team that included contributors to its original whitepaper — Derek Zhang, Alex Su, and Jiang Chen — with the goal of bringing privacy-preserving computation and secure multi-party computation to blockchain applications.
ARPA's primary product in 2026 is Randcast, a verifiable random number generation service built on threshold BLS cryptography, used by smart contracts requiring tamper-proof randomness. Felix Xu has also been involved in Bella Protocol, a DeFi automation and yield product. Prior to ARPA, his background included finance and information systems studies and roles in investment. As of August 2026, Felix Xu remains active as CEO of ARPA Network, which continues to develop its randomness infrastructure and expand node operator economics.
