What Laso is
Laso Finance turns stablecoins into spending access. You connect a crypto wallet, sign a message, and receive a prepaid card, a gift card or a payout in minutes. There is no bank account, no exchange account and no credit check — the service is built for people who hold crypto and want to spend it without opening a banking relationship.
How it works
Deposit USDC, USDT or DAI from a wallet on Ethereum, Solana, Stellar, Arbitrum, Base or Polygon, and Laso issues the card or gift card against that deposit. The company states that it does not hold customer crypto, does not act as an exchange, and settles on-chain, which is why it can operate without a traditional account structure.
What you can buy with it
- US prepaid cards, from $10, with zero Laso transaction fees and instant delivery.
- International cards, currently on a promotional zero-fee offer.
- Gift cards across 2,000+ brands.
- Payouts to Venmo, PayPal, a debit card or a bank account.
Built for agents as well as people
Laso is a payment-gated API that speaks x402 and MPP, ships a SKILL.md file, and markets itself as the card an AI agent can issue from a single prompt. That is unusual in this category and makes it one of the few crypto cards designed for machine payments.
Where to be careful
Reviews are genuinely split. Users praise the absence of KYC and the low fees; others report cards that are declined at merchants, and those complaints are consistently attributed to the underlying card issuers rather than to Laso's own processing. Because there is no KYC, there is also limited recourse if a card fails.
Laso works from your own wallet to issue prepaid cards, gift cards and payouts with no bank account or credit check. The Bitcoin Company sells prepaid Visa and Mastercard cards bought with Bitcoin or stablecoins in the same spirit, and Mypal is the custodial prepaid alternative. Our Best Crypto Cards directory covers the prepaid field.
