What Crydit is
Crydit is a crypto payment platform offering a Visa card - physical and virtual - that connects a crypto account to mainstream merchants. The coverage claims are wide: 210+ countries and regions, 1,000+ cryptocurrencies, 160+ fiat currencies and more than 300 fiat payment channels, with account binding, card top-ups and easy conversion to fiat. Crydit also says assets are protected jointly by Crydit and top custodians, and it emphasises the Visa network's fraud controls, noting that Visa prevented over $40 billion in fraudulent activity in 2024.
The fee structure is the story
Every card here has a cost profile, and Crydit's is front-loaded. Issuance is listed at $199 in one table on the site and $249 in another, there is a 1% top-up fee to load the card, a 0.8 USDT plus 1.5% charge on every transaction, and a 2.50% withdrawal fee. There is no annual or management fee and the spending limit is advertised as unlimited. For a $1,000 month of spending, the per-transaction charge alone would typically exceed $15, and that is before the 1% it costs to put money on the card. The application is straightforward - choose the card, complete KYC, deposit crypto and use it - with KYC listed at up to 7 business days.
What you get for it
In exchange for the fees, Crydit offers unusually broad asset and currency coverage, ATM access, NFC payments, physical and virtual cards, and the reliability of the Visa network. The card will appeal to users who need to spend a long tail of cryptocurrencies in markets where other cards are not issued, and who are willing to pay a premium for that breadth. It is not a card for everyday cashback chasing, since none is offered.
What to verify before paying
The site does not name the issuing bank, the licence under which the card operates, or the jurisdiction Crydit is registered in, and the two different issuance prices suggest the fee table is not kept in tight order. Before paying $199 to $249, confirm the current issuance price, the exact per-transaction fee in your currency, who issues the card, and how withdrawals are processed - those are the details that determine whether the card is worth its cost for your spending pattern.
Crydit leans on breadth: Visa acceptance in more than 210 countries alongside support for 1,000+ cryptocurrencies and 160+ fiat currencies. The Cryptomus virtual card takes the opposite approach with a stablecoin-only balance, and SolvoCard pairs wide coin support with no identity checks.
