The Avalanche Card is a crypto-backed Visa card from the Avalanche ecosystem. You fund it with USDC and AVAX and spend anywhere Visa is accepted, both online and in person.
The fee structure is unusually clean for a crypto card: a $0 monthly account fee, $0 virtual card issuance, $0 physical card and $0 shipping, with a 1% foreign exchange fee as the notable charge. Everything else is either free or confirmed in the app.
The limitation is geography. The card is offered across many US states rather than globally, and international availability has not been announced. There is also no cashback programme — the appeal is spending two major crypto assets with minimal friction, not earning rewards.
The Avalanche Card belongs to a small group of cards branded to a single blockchain rather than to an exchange or a wallet. The Cardano Card is the closest equivalent for ADA holders, while the SolCard plays the same role on Solana. Avalanche's version stands out for paying no cashback at all and keeping its fee sheet simple — the crypto cards directory shows what ecosystem cards across chains actually cost.
