Bio
Rebecca Liao is Co-Founder and CEO of Saga AI Labs and Co-Founder of Saga.xyz. Her current personal biography states that Saga.xyz was acquired by dao5 in 2026 and now operates within the dao5 ecosystem, while she leads Saga AI Labs as a separate and independent entity focused on character AI agents and synthetic relationship technology.
Saga.xyz was co-founded with several other team members to build appchain and blockchain scaling infrastructure, originally positioning itself around enabling developers to launch application-specific blockchains (chainlets) at low cost. The SAGA token was launched on the Cosmos-based Saga mainnet. Following the dao5 acquisition, the Saga blockchain network and foundation's governance should be consulted directly for current independent status and protocol operations.
Before Saga.xyz, Liao worked at Skuchain, a blockchain-based supply chain finance company, and Globality, an AI procurement platform. She holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. She has also served as an advisor to Sommelier, a DeFi yield automation protocol, though her current active advisory status there has not been independently confirmed as of August 2026. Saga AI Labs focuses on AI character agents and synthetic relationships as a separate venture from the Saga blockchain network.
