Bio

Monica Durga is a blockchain developer, technical architect and Web3 entrepreneur best known for founding xHashtag, a Solana-based protocol that evolved from play-to-earn and DAO-oriented community models into AI-agent monetization. Her blockchain engineering background includes technical-architecture work on Router Protocol, a cross-chain interoperability infrastructure project, and Dfyn Network, a decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol, where she served as Chief Technology Architect. Earlier in her career, Durga worked on stablecoin-focused decentralized exchange development built on the 0x Protocol, crypto derivatives matching-engine infrastructure, and multi-chain DeFi systems. Durga has said she began working with Ethereum and decentralized protocols around 2017. As of August 2026, her primary current role is Co-Founder & CTO at Slinky Network, a Bitcoin-native AI infrastructure project secured by Babylon that enables the creation, tokenization and deployment of AI-powered decentralized applications. Her career spans DEX development, cross-chain bridges, DeFi, Solana-based Web3 products, and most recently Bitcoin-native AI infrastructure.
