Bio

Hunter Horsley is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bitwise Asset Management, a regulated digital asset manager. He co-founded Bitwise in 2017 with Hong Kim, after working as a product manager at Facebook and Instagram. He studied economics at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Bitwise began by offering crypto index products designed to give investors diversified exposure to the asset class, and has since expanded into spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, institutional funds, and other regulated crypto investment vehicles in the United States and Europe.

Horsley has been an active public voice on crypto investment, regulation, and ETF policy. He has testified before the SEC and regularly engages in policy discussions about the role of regulated financial products in the crypto market. As of August 2026, Bitwise manages a range of ETFs and institutional products. Horsley continues to serve as CEO while expanding Bitwise's asset management business across multiple fund vehicles and jurisdictions.
