What is KardPay?
KardPay is a crypto card service that turns stablecoins into everyday spending power. You top up a KardPay wallet with USDT or USDC (TRC-20 or ERC-20), that balance funds a Visa or Mastercard, and you spend it anywhere those networks are accepted — online, in stores, and through Apple Pay or Google Pay. KardPay states the programme reaches 180+ countries and 35M+ merchants, with a user base of 12.6K+ at the time of writing.
The proposition is deliberately narrow: one app, one card balance, one one-time fee. No monthly subscription is advertised, and every tier price, top-up percentage and spending limit is published on the website rather than quoted on request.
How the KardPay card works
You create a card in the KardPay app in a few minutes — pick a tier, pay the one-time fee, complete verification, then top up with stablecoins. The virtual card is issued instantly for online payments, subscriptions and digital wallets; the physical card is ordered for in-store tap-to-pay and ATM use. Card freeze, 3D Secure and round-the-clock support are marketed as standard.
Four card products
- Core — $29 one-time: green card, 1-year validity, $10,000/year spending limit, 5% top-up fee, standard support.
- Pro — $99 one-time: white card, 1-year validity, $50,000/year limit, 4% top-up fee, standard support.
- Elite — $199 early-bird (normally $299) one-time: black card, 1-year validity, $500,000/month limit, 3% top-up fee, Elite support and a private concierge.
- Physical Elite — $299 one-time: Elite black Mastercard plus a virtual Elite card, $150,000/month limit and $1,500/day ATM withdrawal. The physical pre-order batch was shown as sold out at the time of writing.
Cashback and the KDY token
KardPay advertises up to 2% cashback on every purchase, but it is a staking reward rather than a free perk. You must hold and lock KDY, the platform's own token, for 180 days after activation: staking 3,000 KDY unlocks 1%, 6,000 KDY unlocks 1.5% and 18,000 KDY unlocks 2%. Higher tiers also lift per-transaction and monthly limits and discount or waive the physical card. Cashback is described as automatic on each payment, and combinable with the VIP tier on request.
Beyond the card
KardPay is assembling a small ecosystem around the card: a direct-deposit wallet for receiving and holding USDT/USDC, an eSIM covering 187+ countries from $1.80, 3,000+ virtual gift cards payable in crypto, a monthly VPN subscription, and an on/off-ramp to buy or sell USDT/USDC in EUR or USD to a bank account. The wallet and card are live; the eSIM, gift cards, VPN and on/off-ramp are labelled as coming soon.
Regulation and safety
KardPay describes itself as regulated and as a Visa/Mastercard Principal Member, and markets bank-grade security with advanced encryption and multi-layer protection. No licence number, named regulator or jurisdiction is published on the card site, so treat that status as a company claim until you can verify it independently. Balances sit in a custodial wallet, so this is not a self-custody product and card funds are not bank deposits — if holding your own keys matters more than card convenience, start with the crypto wallets directory.
Who it suits
KardPay fits stablecoin holders who want straightforward spending: freelancers and remote workers paid in USDT/USDC, travellers who prefer one balance across borders, and crypto users who value published pricing over an opaque fee schedule. Anyone expecting free conversion or non-custodial spending should look elsewhere — every top-up carries a 3–5% fee, and the cashback tiers require locking a project token. The crypto cards directory compares the alternatives, including fee-free stablecoin cards such as the Bleap Card.
