Bitstack is a French bitcoin savings app, and its card is the spending layer on top of it. Every purchase earns bitcoin back, and every rounded-up euro is invested in bitcoin automatically - the idea being that ordinary spending quietly builds a bitcoin position without a separate savings habit.
What the card does
Bitstack advertises up to 1% back in bitcoin ('Stackback') on purchases, plus free instant round-ups that invest your spare change. The card works anywhere Visa is accepted, including ATMs, and supports Apple Pay, with Google Pay listed as coming soon. Bitstack also lets you send money to anyone using a phone number, email address or compatible wallet at no cost, and you can set up direct deposit so part of your salary converts into bitcoin.
The operator behind it
Bitstack Digital Assets SAS is registered with the ACPR as an agent of Xpollens, an electronic money institution, and holds a Crypto-Assets Service Provider licence from the French AMF (A2025-003) covering exchange, order execution, custody and transfer services. The app quotes 350,000+ users, EUR 350M invested and a 4.8/5 rating from more than 5,000 reviews. That regulatory footing is why it lands in the crypto card directory as a Tier-2 listing despite being France-only.
What to weigh up
This is a bitcoin-only product: rewards are paid in BTC, the savings side holds BTC, and there is no stablecoin or altcoin option. The card page also doesn't publish a full fee schedule, so the FX markup and any issuance cost need verifying in the app before you commit. If you want a card with rewards in stablecoins or a broader asset mix, compare it against the rest of the wallet and card listings in our directory.
