Bitrefill has been selling gift cards and mobile top-ups for crypto since 2014, and its card plugs the same habit into everyday spending. You load it with crypto, spend wherever Visa is accepted, and earn cashback on both sides of the transaction - 1% when you deposit and 1% when you buy.
The rewards structure
Cashback is paid in EUR and credited the same day a payment settles. It is uncapped, it never expires, and there are no fees to earn or redeem it - you can convert it free and instantly into Bitrefill store credit, which you then spend across the gift-card, eSIM and phone-refill catalogue. Deposits, cash-outs and ATM withdrawals are excluded from earning, so the 2% headline applies to purchases plus the act of funding the card. A free monthly eSIM data reward is included for active users.
Cards, cash and control
Both the physical and the virtual card are free to order, and the physical one can be used for bank withdrawals and ATM cash, while the virtual one activates the same day. You can hide your balance and freeze the card from the app, and online payments use 3D Secure. Bitrefill states that it never holds your card number - that sits with its licensed card partner - and that data is handled under GDPR.
Availability and track record
This is an EEA product, open to residents of 29 countries, with US and Russian citizens excluded regardless of where they live. Bitrefill itself is one of the longer-running names in the space - over a million customers and a 4.6 Trustpilot rating - which is why it sits at Tier-2 in our crypto card directory. Because the cashback lands as store credit, it pairs naturally with the rest of our crypto gift card directory.
