Bio
Tor Bair is President of Honest Pirate Advisory and Founder of Secret Foundation. In his current role at Honest Pirate Advisory, he provides consulting, coaching, and capital support for early-stage entrepreneurs, applications, and open protocols. He founded Secret Foundation in 2020 as the non-profit organization governing ecosystem development for Secret Network, a privacy-preserving blockchain using trusted execution environments. Secret Foundation operated from 2020 to 2023; this role is now historical.
Bair also founded Stashh, a privacy-focused NFT marketplace on Secret Network, which operated from 2021 to 2025 and is now discontinued. He has served in a strategic advisory capacity to Secret Network since January 2025, though that role's current status as of August 2026 should be verified from official Secret Network sources.
Beyond crypto, Bair writes Are We Cooked?, a media project covering AI and technology. His earlier career included growth and data roles at Snap, Spotify, and related technology organizations. He holds an MIT Sloan MBA (2014–2016) and a Brown University B.A. in Economics (2005–2009).
