Bio
Scott Millar is the Founder and CEO of SideSwap, a Bitcoin Liquid Network-based platform providing self-custodial wallets and peer-to-peer swap markets. Launched in early 2021, SideSwap enables users to trade Liquid Bitcoin (L-BTC) and tokenized assets without relinquishing custody of their funds. Millar is also associated with BlockSettle AB, a Swedish-regulated payment institution with a history in capital markets infrastructure, though his exact ongoing relationship with that entity should be verified from current first-party sources. Through SideSwap, Millar has focused on making Bitcoin's Liquid sidechain accessible to everyday users and institutions, supporting peg-in/peg-out functionality, tokenized securities settlement, and Simplicity smart-contract experimentation. As of 2026, he continues to lead SideSwap's product development and infrastructure direction, including hardware wallet integrations and atomic swap features on the Liquid Network. His CEO title was confirmed by Bitcoin 2026 conference materials.
