Bio

Sandy Peng is a Co-Founder of Scroll, a zero-knowledge rollup built to scale Ethereum with a focus on open-source development, community-driven governance and EVM compatibility. Her background spans finance, investment and blockchain ecosystem development.

Before co-founding Scroll, Peng worked in investment and ecosystem roles, including at Crypto.com, where she gained experience in building developer communities and supporting early-stage blockchain projects. She co-founded Scroll with Ye Zhang and Haichen Shen, bringing together a team focused on building a ZK-rollup that prioritizes decentralization, open-source values and community ownership.

Scroll launched its mainnet in 2023, offering EVM-compatible smart-contract execution secured by zero-knowledge validity proofs. Unlike some ZK-rollups that use proprietary proving systems, Scroll has emphasized open-source development and collaboration with the broader Ethereum and ZK research communities.
