About Mohammed Alshiekh

Mohammed Alshiekh is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of DEMA Energy, a Saudi energy-technology startup developing grid-interactive data centers and large flexible-load systems. DEMA Energy

DEMA treats Bitcoin mining and flexible compute as controllable electrical loads. Virtual power plants aggregate flexible resources to respond to grid needs; commercial value depends on market rules and dispatch rights. Immersion cooling can improve thermal management but does not itself prove efficiency or sustainability. Separate Bitcoin-mining systems from broader AI/compute data-center applications. Do not describe a pilot as deployed grid infrastructure.
