Bio
Mark Lamb is a British crypto entrepreneur and investor best known for helping build several cryptocurrency trading businesses. He founded Coinfloor in 2012, one of the UK's earliest Bitcoin exchanges, growing it to over 50% UK market share before selling the business in 2018. He later co-founded CoinFLEX in January 2019 as a spinout of Coinfloor's exchange business, building it into a top-10 global crypto futures exchange with products including physically delivered futures, perpetual contracts and the interest-bearing stablecoin flexUSD. CoinFLEX suspended withdrawals in June 2022 during the broader crypto credit crisis and subsequently filed for restructuring in a Seychelles court. In 2023, Lamb co-founded OPNX, an exchange designed partly around trading crypto bankruptcy claims and digital assets, alongside Su Zhu, Kyle Davies and Sudhu Arumugam; OPNX ceased operations in February 2024. Lamb's current public professional profile describes him as an entrepreneur and investor with active interests spanning biotech, longevity, artificial intelligence and trading across public and private markets, including his role as COO of Triple Helix Science, a gene therapy biotech company.
