Kevin Sekniqi is a co-founder of Ava Labs, the company that built and launched the Avalanche blockchain. With a background spanning distributed systems and cryptography research, Sekniqi contributed to the early technical and strategic work that brought Avalanche from academic research to a production-grade network.
Ava Labs was founded alongside Emin Gün Sirer and Maofan "Ted" Yin, drawing on research developed at Cornell University around a new family of consensus protocols.
