Bio
Amber Baldet is the Co-Founder and CEO of Clovyr, a company focused on privacy-preserving infrastructure and developer tools for blockchain applications. She co-founded Clovyr with Patrick Nielsen after a prominent career at JPMorgan, where she served as an Executive Director and led the bank's Blockchain Center of Excellence during the institution's early exploration of distributed ledger technology.
During her tenure at JPMorgan, Baldet was closely associated with the bank's Quorum blockchain project — an enterprise-focused Ethereum fork designed for permissioned financial applications. It is important to note that attributing founding credit for Quorum requires verification from primary JPMorgan sources; her role was that of a senior leader within the blockchain program during a critical period of its development. Quorum was later acquired by Consensys, which now develops it independently.
After leaving JPMorgan in 2018, Baldet co-founded Clovyr with the mission of making it easier for developers and enterprises to deploy, manage, and interconnect blockchain applications across multiple protocols. Clovyr's product approach centered on simplifying the developer experience for privacy-focused distributed applications.
Baldet has also been active in the Zcash ecosystem, serving in governance or board roles — current status as of August 2026 should be verified from official Zcash Foundation sources. She is a recognized speaker and advocate on topics including financial privacy, cryptographic policy, and the ethics of decentralized systems. Education details, including specific degrees and institutions, should be verified from official sources before publication.
