Overview
Binance provides several crypto earning products, but not all Binance Earn products are blockchain staking. Its dedicated ETH and SOL staking products are closer to liquid staking services. Users who stake ETH receive WBETH, while SOL staking generates BNSOL. These tokens represent the underlying staked asset together with accumulated staking rewards.
The liquid tokens can provide more flexibility than traditional locked staking because they can be transferred and, where supported, used in other products or DeFi applications.
This distinction is important when comparing Binance with other crypto staking platforms. A high APR displayed elsewhere in Binance Earn may come from a Flexible, Locked, Dual Investment or other yield product and should not automatically be labelled a staking reward.
How Staking Works
Binance ETH Staking lowers Ethereum's native validator barrier by allowing users to participate without operating their own validator. Staking ETH generates WBETH, a value-accruing token where staking rewards are reflected in its conversion value relative to ETH.
Binance SOL Staking uses BNSOL as its liquid staking representation. The BNSOL-to-SOL conversion ratio updates as staking rewards accumulate. Binance states that this ratio is updated by Solana epoch, generally around every two to three days.
Rewards and Rates
| Product | Reward Rate | Rate Type |
|---|---|---|
| ETH Staking | Up to 2.3% APR | APR (dynamic) |
| SOL Staking | Up to 4.8% APR | APR (dynamic) |
Rates are snapshots from Binance's September 9, 2026 staking offer and can change. Last verified Sep 16, 2026.
Supported Assets
- ETH (Ethereum) — WBETH
- SOL (Solana) — BNSOL
Fees
Binance currently references a standard 10% fee on ETH staking rewards. The fee is deducted before rewards are distributed and may be adjusted by Binance. Binance states this fee may be changed. A current official SOL staking commission cannot be independently verified at this time.
Minimum Stake
- ETH Staking: 0.0001 ETH
- SOL Staking: 0.01 SOL
Custody and Liquidity
Binance staking is a custodial service. Assets are held within a Binance account while the staking service operates. The liquid staking tokens WBETH and BNSOL can remain transferable.
- WBETH: Represents staked ETH plus accrued staking rewards
- BNSOL: Represents staked SOL plus accrued staking rewards
Users requiring immediate liquidity may also trade BNSOL or WBETH where available rather than waiting for protocol redemption.
Unstaking / Redemption
- SOL Redemption: Normally no more than 4 days after a successful redemption request, subject to network and processing limitations
- ETH Redemption: Processing time is displayed by Binance at the time of redemption and may change depending on network conditions and platform limits
Advanced Products (Separate from Standard Staking)
Binance also provides some advanced on-chain products, including EigenLayer-related WBETH restaking through On-Chain Yields. Restaking rewards should not be mixed into the standard ETH Staking APR. Treat restaking as a separate product with additional smart-contract and protocol risks.
Important Risks and Limitations
Binance staking combines blockchain staking risk with centralized platform custody risk.
- Liquid staking tokens such as WBETH and BNSOL can trade at market prices that differ from their redemption value
- Redemption times can change depending on the underlying blockchain and platform processing limits
- Availability, rates and supported products vary by jurisdiction
- Other Binance Earn products (Flexible, Locked, Dual Investment) are not blockchain staking and should not be compared as such
Data Verification
Platform features, staking rates, fees and withdrawal conditions can change. Bitnxt checks platform information against official documentation and product pages. Numerical rates shown on this page were last verified on September 16, 2026. Users should confirm current rates and eligibility with the platform before staking.
