What the YPT Card is
YPT stands for Yield, Pay, Trade. The platform started in crypto mining hashrate and staking - SpiderPool and xHash appear among its listed partners - and the card is the spending leg: recharge with USDT, USDC, BTC or ETH, hold the balance in dollars, and spend through Visa at merchants worldwide, with Apple Pay and Google Pay support and no need to convert to fiat in advance.
The most important thing to know is who actually runs the card: RedotPay is listed as YPT's partner, and the fee schedule is identical to RedotPay's published one. That means YPT is the front end - app, onboarding, yield products - while the card itself sits on an established crypto card programme's rails, with Sumsub handling identity verification.
The fee schedule, in full
YPT publishes its card limits and fees in its help centre, which puts it ahead of several cards in this directory:
- 1% on transactions in the card's default currency (USD).
- 2.2% on non-USD transactions - a 1% conversion fee plus a 1.2% FX component.
- $0.20 authorisation fee on transactions between $0 and $1, with the first five per card each month waived.
- $0.50 declined transaction fee, with the first three declined transactions each month waived.
- $100,000 per transaction, daily limit described as unlimited, USD settlement.
Card issuance is around 10 USDT at official pricing and has been free during promotions; physical cards have been given away free with worldwide shipping in YPT campaigns. In practice the cost of using this card is 1% to 2.2% on everything you spend, with no cashback to offset it.
Reputation and transparency
Ratings are mixed and based on modest samples: around 3.2 on Google Play from roughly 255 reviews, 3.7 on the US App Store and 4.6 on the Singapore store, and 2.6 on Trustpilot from only five reviews. The platform's documentation covers KYC, recharges, PIN management, refunds and transaction statuses in detail, and it publishes an unsupported-regions list - but it says little about the licence behind the card, which sits with the partner programme rather than with YPT itself.
Who it suits
If you already mine or stake through YPT and want to spend proceeds without moving them to an exchange, the card closes that loop at a published cost. If you are choosing a crypto card purely on value, this is the same product as RedotPay at the same price - so compare the underlying programme directly, and see the wider crypto cards directory for cards that pay cashback against the 1% you pay here.
