Utorg started life as a fiat-to-crypto on-ramp and has grown into a wallet app with its own card. The Utorg Cryptocard is marketed as a non-custodial crypto card: you hold assets in the app's self-custodial wallet and spend them through a debit card issued on Wirex rails.
The Wirex partnership, announced in April 2026, brought more than card issuance. Utorg gained named EUR and USD IBANs with SEPA Instant and Faster Payments connectivity, real-time crypto-to-fiat conversion at the point of sale with no prefunding, and access to Wirex's acceptance network of more than 80 million merchants across 130-plus countries.
Availability is the main constraint: the card is an EEA product with an explicit country list, plus Ukraine. Utorg does not publish a standing fee schedule — instead it advertises zero fees on payments and cross-fiat conversions "for a limited time", which is a promotional position rather than a permanent one. There is no cashback programme either; the pitch is self-custody plus high limits.
UTORG's Cryptocard is non-custodial and built for the EEA, issued through Wirex's banking-as-a-service platform. Holyheld connects non-custodial wallets to a card issued by Unlimit EU, and Simple uses the same Wirex rails for its wallet card.
