What TXBFI is
TXBFI is a card programme built around a lifetime model rather than a subscription. You pay once for the card - the site's tiers currently run from a promotional $25 for the virtual card up to $10,000 for the Gold card - and then carry no monthly or annual fee. The pitch is explicit about why: TXBFI front-loads the deposit fee so the cost of using the card is visible up front rather than leaking out through monthly charges and FX markups.
The four tiers
Virtual is the entry tier, best for digital-first spending with a $15,000 single-tap limit. Plastic adds a physical Visa card, ATM access of $1,000 a day and free Google Pay support. Metal moves the deposit fee down to 2.4% and adds a personal concierge with a $40,000 single-tap limit. Gold, limited to five cards with three claimed at the time of writing, drops the deposit fee to 1.8% and pushes the single-tap limit to $100,000 with daily ATM access of $3,000.
The fee logic
Every rate is published in a single table: card deposit from 1.8%, forex at a fixed 0.6% spread over mid-market, internal crypto exchange and cross-chain swaps at 0.2%, ATM withdrawals from 2%, and zero monthly or annual fees. TXBFI compares its own two-year cost at $1,152 against what it says other cards charge, a claim you should verify against your own spending pattern rather than accept - the comparison depends heavily on how much you load onto the card.
What to check before buying
The tiers are expensive to enter and the deposit fee is charged on every top-up, so the lifetime framing only pays off over a long holding period and at moderate load volumes. TXBFI's card registration runs through a separate domain and the programme is new, so treat the published fee discipline as the main positive and verify the issuing entity before committing to a four-figure card.
TXBFI sells cards on a pay-once lifetime model, from a $25 launch-price virtual card up to plastic options. That is a different bargain from the tiered issuers: Zebec charges per card tier, and UltimoPay pairs its Platinum card with an offshore USD account. The crypto cards directory compares the upfront costs.
