What the THORWallet Card is
THORWallet is a non-custodial, multi-chain wallet built around true cross-chain swaps - native BTC to ETH, for example, without wrapping or bridging - and its card is the spending layer on top. The card is a Mastercard accepted in 175+ countries including the United States, funded from your own wallet, with the top-up model that defines self-custody cards: your keys never leave your device, and you move funds onto the card only when you want to spend.
Three plans that do different jobs
Basic is a virtual card, free with an invite code and otherwise a $5 one-off, with no monthly subscription, no top-up fee and a 1.5% card FX fee. Premium costs $99 with an invite code or $124 without, is a one-off payment rather than a subscription, and adds a physical card, 0.5% cashback in USDC, higher limits and priority support - the cashback is capped at the first $5,000 of spend a month, so $25 is the ceiling. The Swiss IBAN plan is free forever with no card fee and no subscription, and it is the one aimed at people who need to send and receive money: a personal Swiss account and SEPA access, balances in CHF, EUR, USD and RMB, limits up to $10M, and sending and receiving that works like a traditional account. It has no cashback and carries a 1% FX fee and 0.25-1% top-up fees.
Limits, rewards and the referral scheme
This is one of the few cards that publishes a full limits table. Basic allows $20,000 per transaction, $50,000 a day and $100,000 a month; Premium lifts that to $100,000 per transaction, $500,000 a day and $1,000,000 a month, with higher limits available on request. ATM access is priced per withdrawal at $1 domestically and $5 internationally. The referral programme pays in both directions: a friend gets a free Basic card or 20% off Premium with your code, and you earn up to $25 per referred signup plus up to 0.2% of their card FX spend, paid monthly in USDC once they fund the card and make a first purchase.
Where it sits in this directory
It is a strong fit for anyone who already holds crypto in self-custody and wants to spend it without moving it to an exchange, with unusually transparent limits and a genuinely useful free Swiss IBAN option alongside the card. The 1.5% card FX fee on Basic and Premium is the main cost to weigh against free-FX cards, ATM fees are per withdrawal, cashback only exists on Premium and is capped at $25 a month, and availability is not universal - India, Nigeria, Kenya, Kuwait and China are among the markets not served.
THORWallet's card spends from self-custody balances through Mastercard in more than 175 countries, with a free virtual Basic tier. Tonhub Card links a debit card to a non-custodial blockchain wallet in the same way, and Solflare does it for Solana users. The crypto cards directory compares the tiers.
