What oneBanking currently is
onebanking.app presents a full consumer finance product: a European IBAN account with SEPA Instant, virtual and physical debit cards, fiat wallets, crypto wallets, rewards that accumulate as XP, stock and gold investing, and a personal AI coach that watches your money. The company behind it is real and identifiable: One Finance Limited, registered in Malta under number C 108849, with its registered office at Agora Business Centre, Msida, incorporated on 25 June 2024, VAT number MT31333709. Its co-founder and CEO is Wilfried Streiner, who has discussed the product on crypto podcasts.
The terms say none of it exists yet
This is the part that matters, and One Finance states it without hedging. In its General Terms and Conditions, version 2.0, updated 12 September 2026, clause 1.3 is titled "No payment services — what happens with your money" and reads: One Finance Limited "does not hold a licence as a credit institution, electronic money institution, payment institution or investment firm and does not provide payment services, e-money services, investment services or crypto-asset services." The company says it does not accept, hold, safeguard or transfer customer funds, and that "no payment account, IBAN, debit card, deposit, investment or crypto product is currently offered or available through the Platform."
What the app actually is, per the same clause, is a beta "running in a test environment with simulated funds", where balances, wallets, cards and transactions are test data with no monetary value. XP and rewards are non-monetary loyalty points. The terms even instruct users: "You must not send funds to us or to any account in the expectation of receiving payment or financial services." Future financial services, if introduced, would come from "a duly licensed provider under separate terms".
The pricing on the homepage is indicative
onebanking.app publishes three tiers: Growth at €9.90 per month with a €35 account-opening fee, Business at €19.90 with free account opening, virtual and physical cards, AI features and reward cash-out, and Business+ at €39.90 with 4x rewards, the lowest fees and AI trading tools. Clause 6.2 of the terms states that subscription plans, account-opening fees and other displayed prices "are indicative and relate to services that we intend to offer in the future", that no fee will be charged until the service exists, a price sheet is published and you have expressly agreed, and that you will be notified in advance. So the pricing is a product roadmap, not a contract.
What it would be if it ships
The intended combination — EEA IBAN with SEPA Instant, fiat and crypto wallets in one app, cards with custom designs, XP-based rewards with multipliers, stock and gold investing, and an AI coach that automates savings — is a plausible neobank-plus-crypto hybrid, and it is the kind of product that could interest crypto users who want a European account alongside wallets. The support model is also described concretely: in-app chat and email, 9am to 5pm CET on business days, in English and German, with humans available when the AI cannot resolve something.
The practical read
Nothing here is a card yet, and the company itself says so in its legal terms. Treat oneBanking as a pre-launch product to watch, not a financial service to use: do not send money, do not rely on the advertised pricing, and judge it later on the licence it obtains and the licensed provider it partners with. Once it launches with a licence, the comparison to make is against live European programmes such as RedotPay or the cards in the crypto cards directory. Until then, an account you can actually spend from is the better use of your time.
