What the Keytom Card is
Keytom is a digital account provider that holds fiat and crypto side by side, and the card is the spending layer. You get a virtual card immediately and can order a physical card for wider use, funded from a converted balance inside the account rather than from a separate card wallet.
The pitch is high limits
Keytom markets spending up to $150,000 per single transaction — far above the caps most crypto cards apply — plus ATM withdrawals of up to $3,000 a day and $10,000 a month. Acceptance is quoted at 130 million merchants worldwide, with contactless payments and automatic currency conversion at checkout.
What it costs
The card is not free to run. Virtual issuing costs nothing and there is no annual fee, but physical delivery is 50 USDC and the card carries a 10 USDC monthly fee. Card payments cost 1% in USD and 2.35% in other currencies, both with a 0.66 USDC minimum, and ATM withdrawals cost 2% in USD and 3.35% elsewhere. On a small monthly spend, the flat fees dominate.
Protection and scale
Keytom says it is registered as a licensed financial institution in Canada, keeps customer funds in segregated accounts opened in your name, and insures crypto up to $100 million through Fireblocks, underwritten by Marsh and Munich Re. Support runs on business days only, 05:00 to 15:00 UTC, and the platform reports more than 20,000 users.
Keytom pairs a named EUR IBAN and a multi-currency account with virtual and physical Visa cards, placing it beside AISI Bank in the EU account-plus-card field and next to Rebind, which adds interest-bearing savings. Custody of the account balance is the deciding factor, and the crypto cards directory records it.
