Overview
Maroo is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on the Korean economy. Its public testnet lets users explore network functionality before committing to production use. This listing explains how to access test tokens, configure a wallet and inspect a test transaction. BitNxt has not verified an official reward allocation or airdrop eligibility announcement in the reviewed sources.
Who can participate?
Maroo describes itself as an open sovereign Layer 1 designed for the Korean economy. The project’s Korean focus does not establish a Korea-only participation rule. Conversely, this profile does not certify eligibility in every jurisdiction.
How to get started
These steps are based on published resources. BitNxt has not connected a wallet or executed a test transaction for this review.
- 1
Prepare a separate test wallet.
Use an EVM-compatible wallet dedicated to testing. Keep valuable assets and your main wallet credentials separate. Never paste a seed phrase into a faucet or support form.
- 2
Add the official test network.
In your wallet’s network settings, enter the values listed in the "Network settings" section below. Compare them with the official documentation before saving, then switch to the test network.
Read Network Setup - 3
Open the faucet.
Select “Connect Wallet”, review the connection request, then follow the faucet’s token-request flow. The faucet currently displays: 5,000 tOKRW per request; up to five requests every ten minutes; requests unavailable when holding 10,000 tOKRW; test tokens have no real monetary value. These are usage limits, not a recommendation to maximize requests.

Check your balance.
Confirm that the wallet is on the correct test network. If the balance does not update immediately, check the explorer before requesting again.
- 5
Try a small test transfer.
Send a small quantity of test funds to a test address you control, leaving enough for any network fee. Review the recipient, amount and selected network before confirming. This is a learning exercise, not a requirement to create multiple farming accounts.
Official transfer guide - 6
Verify the transaction.
Copy the transaction hash and inspect it in the official explorer. Check its status and recipient before retrying a transfer.
View Testnet Explorer - 7
Explore additional official tools.
Use the project’s Experience page for available demonstrations. Developers can follow official guides for more advanced testing.

What can you do on the testnet?
Use test funds to learn how the network works, inspect transactions and explore official demonstrations.
These are testing activities, not a verified checklist for earning an airdrop. Repeating transactions or deploying a contract does not establish entitlement to future tokens.
Optional: smart-contract testing
Contract deployment is optional developer practice. It is not a confirmed airdrop requirement.
Maroo’s documentation supports Solidity development using tools such as Hardhat and Foundry. Beginners can skip this section.
Follow the official documentation, use a separate test account and spend only test funds. Do not deploy unfamiliar code merely because a social post suggests it may increase rewards.
Is there an airdrop or claim link?
BitNxt has not verified an official airdrop announcement in the sources reviewed for this profile.
The faucet distributes testing currency. It is not a token-sale page or a financial-reward claim portal.
An allocation, eligibility formula, snapshot date and redemption process would require a separate official announcement. Do not assume testnet participation will qualify for a future distribution. Read about another unconfirmed reward opportunity, or explore the UXLINK Season 9 profile.
Cost and expected rewards
The documented test flow uses faucet funds. There is no reason in this guide to purchase tokens or deposit mainnet funds.
No financial reward is promised. The useful outcome currently described is experience using the network.
Troubleshooting
- Faucet request fails: Check the displayed balance and request limits. If the faucet reports congestion, wait before retrying. Do not pay a third party to bypass it.
- Balance appears missing: Check your selected network and wallet address, then compare with the official explorer.
- Transaction remains pending: Inspect its status before submitting another transaction. Do not assume a delay means failure.
- An unfamiliar website asks for payment: Return to the links in the official project documentation. Testnet access is not evidence that a separate payment or claim site is legitimate.
