TxFlow L1 Launches Probly: A Fully Onchain Challenger Enters the Polymarket–Kalshi Arena

TxFlow L1 Launches Probly: A Fully Onchain Challenger Enters the Polymarket–Kalshi Arena — Press Release crypto news
TxFlow L1 launched Probly, a fully onchain prediction market platform, aiming to compete with Polymarket and Kalshi through native settlement, shared liquidity, and modular blockchain architecture.

The booming prediction-market sector has a new entrant with a distinct architectural pitch. TxFlow L1, the Layer 1 blockchain organized around its “TIP” liquidity standards, has launched Probly — a prediction-market platform that becomes the network’s second application, or “Channel,” after its perpetuals-focused TxFlow DEX. At launch, the company says Probly offers 172 live markets covering more than 7,000 events across 15 categories, from politics and sports to crypto, finance, and geopolitics.

The Architecture Pitch

Probly’s differentiation, per the announcement, is where it settles. Rather than running on a general-purpose network or a centralized offchain ledger, the platform is built on TxFlow Improvement Protocol 3 (TIP3) — the network’s standard for prediction-market applications — and settles directly on TxFlow L1, plugging into the same shared execution, settlement, and liquidity layer as the rest of the ecosystem. The framework is deliberately extensible: TIP1 covers spot markets, TIP2 derivatives, TIP3 prediction markets, with future slots reserved for RWAs and structured products. The chain itself claims DAG-based parallel execution, with TxFlow DEX reportedly processing over 250,000 TPS with one-block finality. Resolution runs through designated oracles: price-source markets settle automatically and immediately, while manually adjudicated markets take 24–72 hours, with winnings auto-credited in USDC — no claim step.

The Five-Minute Question

One launch feature deserves scrutiny given this week’s news: Probly offers continuously rolling five-minute, 15-minute, one-hour, and four-hour markets on BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP price movements. That is precisely the contract format at the center of the new Stanford–SMU study, which found Polymarket’s five-minute Bitcoin markets exhibited patterns consistent with settlement-price manipulation — traders nudging the spot price in the final seconds before a single-timestamp oracle snapshot. The researchers’ prescribed fixes were longer durations and time-weighted average pricing. Probly’s announcement does not specify whether its oracle settlement uses a single price snapshot or an averaged price, making that a fair question for the platform as it courts short-horizon traders.

Accessibility and the Competitive Field

On onboarding, Probly follows the current playbook for reaching mainstream users: an email-based embedded wallet requiring no seed phrase, alongside support for MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom, and Uniswap Wallet. The platform enters a category on a tear — Kalshi processed roughly $9.4 billion in June volume and Polymarket International about $4.3 billion, per DefiLlama data — but also one under mounting regulatory scrutiny, with US states challenging incumbents and jurisdiction fights headed through federal courts. Probly’s own notice acknowledges the terrain, limiting access to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions.

The strategic read: TxFlow is executing the app-chain thesis from the inside — rather than flagship apps leaving general-purpose chains to build custom infrastructure (the Hyperliquid and Polymarket path), it’s launching purpose-built financial applications natively on a chain designed for them from day one. Whether a late entrant can pry volume from entrenched leaders will depend less on architecture diagrams than on liquidity — the one thing incumbents already have.
