MEXC has launched its Global Card, a Visa-powered crypto card offering USDT spending with up to 10% cashback, Apple Pay support and annualized stablecoin returns of up to 7%.
Visa Card With USDT Spending
The MEXC Global Card allows users to spend USDT at any merchant that accepts Visa, both online and in physical stores. The card integrates with Apple Pay and Google Pay, enabling contactless payments through mobile wallets. Users can fund their card with USDT held in their MEXC accounts, with the stablecoin automatically converted at the point of sale. The card eliminates the need for a separate bank account or credit check, making crypto spending accessible to a broader user base. MEXC's announcement positions the card as a bridge between cryptocurrency holdings and everyday spending, targeting users who want to use their digital assets for routine purchases without manually converting funds.
4% to 10% Cashback in USDT
The card offers tiered cashback rates ranging from 4% to 10% paid in USDT, determined by the user's M-Score tier. The cashback rate follows the user's VVIP level on the last day of each month. Monthly cashback caps vary by tier: 100 USDT for the lowest tier, 300 USDT for the mid-tier, and 800 USDT for the highest tier. The cashback structure rewards higher-tier users with more spending power, incentivizing platform engagement and trading activity. Users can earn cashback on all card purchases, effectively reducing the cost of everyday transactions while accumulating USDT rewards that can be reinvested or withdrawn.
Annualized Stablecoin Returns Up to 7%
Beyond cashback, the MEXC Global Card offers annualized stablecoin returns of up to 7% on USDT held in the card account. The yield program allows users to earn passive income on their stablecoin balances while maintaining spending access. This feature positions the card as both a spending tool and a savings vehicle, competing with traditional bank accounts and crypto lending platforms. The returns are generated through MEXC's earning products, which stake or lend the USDT to generate yield. Users should review the terms and risks associated with the yield program, as returns are not guaranteed and may fluctuate based on market conditions.
No Income Proof Required
MEXC's card application process does not require income proof, lowering the barrier to entry for users who may not have access to traditional credit cards. The card is available to MEXC users across supported jurisdictions, with the platform handling compliance and verification through its existing KYC procedures. The no-income-proof requirement makes the card particularly attractive in emerging markets where access to traditional financial services is limited and cryptocurrency adoption is growing. MEXC competes with other crypto card offerings from exchanges including Bybit, Bitget, Binance, Crypto.com, OKX and Kraken, each with varying cashback rates, fees and supported features.
Crypto Cards Expand Mainstream Adoption
The MEXC Global Card launch follows a broader trend of crypto exchanges launching payment cards to bridge digital assets with everyday spending. Crypto.com has offered its Visa card for several years with CRO-based rewards, while Binance has rolled out cards in multiple markets. The competition among exchanges to offer the best crypto card reflects growing demand for practical spending solutions from the estimated 560 million crypto users worldwide. As stablecoin adoption continues to accelerate, with USDT supply exceeding $250 billion, crypto cards provide a critical onramp for converting digital holdings into real-world purchasing power without requiring users to manually sell assets on an exchange.
