Dubai, UAE — 30 September 2026: FINNOVEX Middle East 2026 will bring banking executives, fintech leaders and technology providers to Dubai on November 10–11 to explore how connected systems, payments and data can support financial services transformation.

These priorities will guide FINNOVEX Middle East 2026 — Chapter 39, scheduled for 10–11 November 2026 in Dubai. Organised by Exibex around the theme “Finance in Motion,” the summit will convene senior financial services leaders and technology companies to explore the choices influencing their organisations and the connected financial ecosystem emerging for 2027.

Supporting this edition are Alfa Bank as Diamond Sponsor, Sardine as Gold Sponsor, Sends and BPC as Silver Sponsors, Posidex as Bronze Sponsor, and Watermelon Communications as Official PR Partner.

The programme opens with the conference and FINNOVEX Awards on 10 November, followed by executive roundtables on 11 November. This format pairs broad industry perspectives with smaller discussions focused on practical institutional challenges.

The Leadership Driving Banking Transformation

Chapter 39 will feature executives whose responsibilities span the strategies, operations and commercial decisions behind banking modernisation.

The featured speaker line-up includes Linoy Kidd, CIO, GBM MENAT at HSBC; Yan Bechet, Chief Operating Officer at HSBC UAE; Daniele Coda, Chief Commercial Officer at RAKBANK; and Vladislavs Mironovs, Chief Digital Officer at Commercial Bank of Dubai.

Joining them are Abdulla Al Taee, Chief Operating Officer at United Arab Bank; Abdullah Al-Awadi, Chief Strategy Officer at Kuwait International Bank; and Alberto Diez, Chief Operating Officer at Emirates Development Bank.

The programme also includes Khawer Khaliq, Chief Operating Officer at Vision Bank Limited; Asim Shrivastava, Chief Credit Officer at Bank of Sharjah; and Mirel Băilă, Acting Chief Operating Officer at Al Masraf.

Together, these roles reflect the interdependent nature of transformation. A compelling digital service requires an operating model that can support it. Faster onboarding and transactions must work alongside effective controls. Technology spending needs to address a commercial objective and have a workable path to deployment.

By bringing these responsibilities into a shared programme, FINNOVEX will create space to assess change across the institution, including the dependencies that influence whether projects deliver their intended results.

From Digital Banking to a Connected Financial System

As institutions prepare for 2027, Chapter 39 will examine how financial products, platforms and organisations work together.

A single payment or lending process may rely on a bank, a fintech company, a payment network and several technology providers. The quality of the resulting service depends on the reliability of the information exchanged and the clarity of responsibilities between those participants.

For financial institutions, this brings interoperability, data quality, governance and partnership structures into sharper focus. For technology providers, it reinforces the importance of understanding how a product fits within a bank’s existing architecture and operational priorities.

Artificial intelligence, digital payments, open finance and customer experience will form part of this wider conversation. Each area’s value depends on the people, systems and controls supporting its implementation. The “Finance in Motion” theme will connect these discussions as participants consider their next stage of financial services innovation.

The Dubai summit will provide a setting to link today’s implementation challenges with the decisions ahead: where institutions should direct investment, which capabilities need further development and how partnerships can support delivery.

Two Days to Exchange Priorities and Explore Partnerships

The first-day conference will bring banking and technology viewpoints into the main programme, while the FINNOVEX Awards will recognise contributions across the industry.

Executive roundtables will take centre stage on the second day. Designed for more focused exchanges, these sessions will allow participants to share operational experience and examine business priorities in greater detail.

Delegates will have opportunities to engage with the wider leadership discussion and contribute to smaller conversations. Sponsors, exhibitors and technology partners will be able to better understand the institutional needs and operating considerations behind potential collaborations.

The involvement of Alfa Bank, Sardine, Sends, BPC and Posidex will add banking and technology perspectives to these exchanges. Other organisations seeking to engage with the Middle East financial services sector are invited to contact Exibex about the partnership formats available for Chapter 39.

Sponsorship, exhibition and executive roundtable arrangements will depend on availability, relevance to the programme and the deliverables associated with each opportunity.
