Davos, Switzerland — DavosWeb3 2027 will convene an institutional roundtable on January 20, 2027, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in Davos, Switzerland. Taking place during World Economic Forum week, the invitation-oriented gathering will bring together a select group of innovators, sovereign wealth funds, private equity partners, policy architects and industry leaders to discuss the next phase of global financial infrastructure.
The 2027 edition will center on “The Wealth of Networks,” a theme reflecting the shift of digital assets from early exploration toward deeper integration with traditional finance and artificial intelligence. The programme will combine focused discussions, forward-looking keynotes and curated networking.
Founder and special speaker Arnold Johnson will address the connections between global finance and decentralized protocols. Conversations will consider how blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), digital identity solutions and AI systems can scale responsibly while delivering measurable economic impact.
An Established Platform for Substantive Dialogue
Since its launch, DavosWeb3 has developed a focused setting for participants working across the Web3 ecosystem. Its inaugural roundtable in January 2025 brought together approximately 100 leading voices. Participants signed the Davos Declaration, built around seven principles: Collaboration, Equitability, Transparency, Accountability, Inclusion, Decentralization and Sustainability.
Founding members also published the whitepaper “Ushering a New Billion into the Global System,” outlining ways blockchain, DeFi and digital identity could help expand financial inclusion for unbanked populations.
The 2026 edition, hosted at Financial Times House, explored the growing relationship between Web3 and artificial intelligence. Organizations including Manta Network, 0G Foundation, Blockchain Founders Fund, Unstoppable Domains, Kredete, Dentity and Animoca Brands reinforced the Davos Declaration as an ethical framework for responsible development. The discussions reflected the growing place of decentralized technologies in conversations about finance, ownership and the responsible development of technology.
Rather than following a conventional conference format, DavosWeb3 emphasizes direct peer-to-peer exchange and long-term alignment. Its selective approach connects builders, investors, operators and policymakers who share an interest in resilient systems and human-centered outcomes.
DavosWeb3 2027 Priorities: Systemic Integration
As digital assets become more closely connected to the infrastructure of global finance, the 2027 roundtable will focus on practical pathways for integration with capital markets, policy frameworks and AI systems. Structured conversations will give participants space to exchange actionable insights and explore collaborations that can continue beyond Davos.
Participation will remain selective and invitation-oriented. Speaking and sponsorship opportunities are available to organizations whose priorities align with responsible innovation and long-term value creation.
