CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan all reported lower Bitcoin production in July compared to June, marking the second straight month of declining output. Production Declines Across the Board
CleanSpark, one of the largest publicly listed Bitcoin miners in the United States, reported a decrease in July production despite maintaining a substantial hash rate. The company has been actively expanding its data center footprint, but a portion of that capacity is being allocated to AI workloads rather than Bitcoin mining. BitFuFu, a cloud mining platform, similarly reported lower output as it rebalanced its infrastructure portfolio.
