Mo Shaikh is the Founder of Maximum Frequency Ventures and a Co-Founder of Aptos Labs, the company behind the Aptos Layer-1 blockchain. His work spans institutional digital assets, blockchain infrastructure and venture capital.
Before founding Aptos Labs, Shaikh worked on projects connected to Meta's digital-assets initiative (Diem/Libra) alongside Avery Ching. He also previously founded Meridio, an early blockchain-based real-estate tokenization venture. In December 2024, Shaikh stepped down as Aptos Labs CEO; co-founder Avery Ching succeeded him in that role. He subsequently founded Maximum Frequency Ventures, his current primary operating and investment vehicle, which focuses on digital-asset and technology opportunities.
