Bitget Wallet

Bitget Wallet's self-custody multi-chain Web3 wallet — 90M+ users since 2018, 130+ mainnets + 6,000+ tokens, cross-chain DEX aggregator, in-app staking + NFTs.

5.0
5M+ users Visit website

Overview

Bitget Wallet (formerly BitKeep; rebranded after the Bitget exchange acquired BitKeep in 2023) is one of the largest multi-chain self-custodial Web3 wallets by user base — 90 million+ users as published on the Bitget Wallet homepage (verified July 2026: "Join 100,000,000 users in embracing the freedom of finance"; stat card reads "80+ Mainnets • 6K+ Tokens • 90M+ Users"). Per its tagline on the homepage: "Best Free Crypto Wallet for Web3 — One trusted wallet for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain and 130+ mainnets. Trade, stake, and explore Web3 with Bitget Wallet." And the security line: "Self-custodial. Open source. Your keys, your crypto."

Bitget Wallet is a multi-chain mobile + extension wallet available across iOS App Store, Google Play, Android APK, and Chrome browser extension. The wallet's value proposition is to be a single self-custodial Web3 wallet that replaces the fragmented landscape of needing MetaMask (for EVM) + Phantom/Solflare (for Solana) + Petra (for Aptos) + Keplr (for Cosmos) + UniSat (for Bitcoin Ordinals). The user gets one identity, one wallet, for 130+ mainnets and 6,000+ tokens, with a built-in cross-chain DEX swap aggregator, a built-in earn / staking product, a built-in DApp browser with WalletConnect, a built-in crypto card, and built-in predictions markets.

Bitget Wallet's position in this directory: the category-leading non-custodial multi-chain Web3 wallet by user count, with the deepest on-ramp + 80+ chain coverage + the broadest product feature set (Swap + Card + Earn + Predictions + Wallet + DApp) of any single self-custodial wallet in this directory. The closest peers are Trust Wallet (self-custodial multi-chain, 100M+ users, similar swap/stake/DApp feature set) and OKX Wallet (self-custodial, integrated into the OKX exchange ecosystem). Bitget Wallet is the preferred pick for users who want a unified self-custodial wallet across many chains without needing MetaMask + Phantom + Solflare + Petra side-by-side.

Reputation: Bitget Wallet inherited the BitKeep technology stack and community when Bitget (the crypto exchange) acquired BitKeep in 2023. The Bitget brand has the financial backing of one of the world's largest crypto exchanges, and Bitget Wallet benefits from a Bitget Protection Fund (visible on the homepage nav: "Protection fund" + "Security technology"). The wallet has open-source credentials per its homepage tagline, but the open-source model here is partial (mobile/native SDK is not fully open-source like MetaMask's MIT licensed code, but the wallet's core security + signing code is published) — see security_content below for the open-source scope.

Features

Multi-chain coverage: 130+ mainnets in one wallet

Per the Bitget Wallet homepage (July 2026): "80+ Mainnets • 6K+ Tokens", and the hero copy expands to "130+ mainnets". The visible mainnets in the "Discover Web3 Assets" grid include: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), BNB Chain, Aptos (APT), Arbitrum, Arweave, Avalanche, Bitget Huobi ECO Chain, BitKeep Kava (KAVA), BounceBit, AI Coin Chain + 80+ more. The wallet serves a single user across EVM (Ethereum + all major EVM L2s), Solana, Cosmos-sdk chains, Aptos, Polkadot, Cardano, and Bitcoin — meaning the user doesn't need separate wallets to interact with each chain ecosystem. Same identity, one swap, one DApp browser, one set of seed-phrase backups across all 130+ mainnets.

Built-in cross-chain DEX swap aggregator — best price across DEXs

The Swap tab in the Bitget Wallet is a cross-chain DEX swap aggregator — it queries multiple DEXs (Uniswap, PancakeSwap, 1inch, 0x, Jupiter, Raydium, etc.) on each chain and returns the best price across all of them. The user enters "I want X token → Y token" and Bitget Wallet returns the best route + price + estimated slippage + estimated gas. The aggregator charges a small swap fee (typically 0.05-0.5%). This is the same model as Trust Wallet + 1inch + Jupiter aggregator — but native inside the wallet, no need to open a separate DEX website. The wallet also supports cross-chain swaps (e.g. swap USDC on Ethereum directly to SOL on Solana) via integrated cross-chain bridges / THORChain / LiFi.

Gas abstraction — pay gas in any token (no native gas token required)

Bitget Wallet's "Gas abstraction" feature (per its short description on this directory listing) lets the user pay gas for a transaction using any token they hold on that chain — instead of requiring the user to hold the chain's native gas token. Example: on Polygon, the user can pay gas in USDC instead of MATIC; on Arbitrum, the user can pay gas in USDC instead of ETH. The wallet auto-swaps a small amount of the user's token into the native gas token under the hood, then submits the transaction. This is a major UX win for new users who otherwise get stuck with "insufficient gas" errors when they hold tokens but no native gas token. (Note: gas abstraction is supported on select chains — check the wallet for the full list of supported chains.)

Earn — built-in stablecoin yields + staking

The Earn tab in the Bitget Wallet offers built-in stablecoin yields (visible link to web3.bitget.com/en/stablecoinEarn), and staking products. The user can deposit USDT / USDC into Bitget Wallet's Earn products to earn yield, or stake supported PoS tokens (ETH, SOL, BNB, etc.) via the wallet's built-in staking integrations. Earn yields are sourced from vetted DeFi protocols + Bitget's own product; rates vary by product. This is a convenience comparable to Trust Wallet's Earn product; replaces the user manually navigating to Aave / Lido / Pendle.

Card — Bitget Wallet physical / virtual crypto debit card

Bitget Wallet offers a crypto debit card (visible link to web3.bitget.com/en/card in the homepage nav) — a Visa / Mastercard crypto debit card that lets users spend crypto anywhere Visa / Mastercard is accepted, with crypto-to-fiat conversion at point-of-sale. Apply for the card directly inside the Bitget Wallet app. The card requires KYC (Bitget / card-issuer KYC). Card tier + limits depend on KYC tier. (See our crypto cards directory for a full comparison of crypto card providers.)

Predictions — built-in crypto prediction markets

Bitget Wallet has a built-in Predictions tab (visible links to web3.bitget.com/en/predictions and web3.bitget.com/en/world-cup-2026-predictions). The user can make directional-price bets (e.g. "BTC up / down by EOD", "ETH above X by Friday", "World Cup 2026 winner"). Settlement is in crypto. This is a higher-risk product that fits Bitget's exchange-brand DNA (Bitget is one of the world's largest derivatives exchanges) — the wallet leans into trading products the same way Trust Wallet leans into NFTs.

Bitget Wallet X — enterprise / institutional wallet

Bitget Wallet X is the wallet's enterprise / institutional tier, accessible via web3.bitget.com/en/enterprise. It's targeted at projects, treasuries, and Web3 businesses that want a managed multi-chain self-custody wallet with API access, custody-grade security, and dedicated support. Higher KYC / pricing than the consumer wallet.

DApp browser + WalletConnect — access dApps + RWA + World Cup predictions

The wallet has a built-in DApp browser (visible link to web3.bitget.com/en/dapp) + WalletConnect v2 support — connects to thousands of dApps across all 130+ supported mainnets. The wallet also has dedicated sections for RWA (real-world assets) (link to web3.bitget.com/rwa) and Altcoin Season Index (a market indicator product published by Bitget). The DApp browser + WalletConnect combination gives Bitget Wallet dApp access parity with MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and OKX Wallet.

Bitget Exchange integration — instant crypto purchase

The wallet has a direct integration with Bitget (the crypto exchange) for instant crypto purchases (visible link to www.bitget.com/register). The user can buy crypto directly with fiat inside the wallet app; the fiat on-ramp uses Bitget's exchange + MoonPay / Simplex / Transak / Apple Pay / Google Pay / credit-card / debit-card rails. Buy fees typically 1.5-5% per transaction, varying by jurisdiction / payment method. This is comparable to Trust Wallet's third-party on-ramp integration; Bitget Wallet's integration is tighter because Bitget is the parent company.

Multi-platform availability

iOS (App Store) · Android (Google Play) · Android APK direct download · Chrome browser extension. The same account / same seed phrase syncs across all platforms (with QR-code sync from the extension to mobile). The Chrome extension has WalletConnect + DApp browser + tx signing — comparable meta-experience to MetaMask Chrome extension.

Security

Self-custodial — your keys, your crypto

Per the Bitget Wallet homepage tagline: "Self-custodial. Open source. Your keys, your crypto." The wallet is non-custodial — private keys are stored encrypted on the user's device (AES-256 encrypted local keystore, secured by the user's password / biometric). Bitget (the company) has no access to user private keys or funds. If the user loses their device AND their seed-phrase backup, the wallet is unrecoverable — same recovery model as Trust Wallet, MetaMask, OKX Wallet. The user controls their own keys and signs their own transactions.

Open source (partial / core security code)

The wallet is described as "Open source" per its homepage tagline. The Bitget Wallet security-critical signing code is published open-source for community audit / review. The mobile-native + iOS / Android SDK + parts of the closed-service integrations (Bitget Exchange integration, Bitget Card integration, Bitget Earn integration) are NOT open-source (they're proprietary, integrated APIs the wallet calls). This is a partial-open-source model comparable to Trust Wallet's partial open-source model. Full 100% open-source mobile hardware-wallet firmware is rare and most software wallets fall into this partial-open-source category — see Keystone 3 Pro for a 100%-open-source hardware-wallet reference.

Bitget Protection Fund — backed by a Bitget exchange financial guarantee

Bitget Wallet is backed by Bitget (the crypto exchange) — one of the world's largest derivatives exchanges by trading volume. Bitget operates a Protection Fund (visible link to web3.bitget.com/en/about/safety-commitment) that covers user losses from Bitget-side security incidents. This fund is a Bitget-exchange-level fund, not a Bitget-Wallet-specific fund — the Protection Fund primarily covers Bitget-exchange platform users, not Bitget-Wallet users directly. (Wallet users with non-custodial wallets primarily bear self-custody risk — losing the seed phrase is the user's responsibility, not Bitget's.) However, the Bitget brand + financial-backing backing gives Bitget Wallet a stronger consumer-trust + customer-support posture than a standalone wallet startup.

Security technology — published security portal

Bitget Wallet publishes a Security technology portal (visible link to web3.bitget.com/en/about/security-technology) describing its security architecture: AES-256 local keystore encryption, BIP-39 seed phrase generation, Secure Enclave (iOS) / Android Keystore (Android) hardware-backed key storage, transaction signing in-app (private keys never leave the device), and 2FA / biometric app-locked access.

Device-side security

iOS uses the Secure Enclave for hardware-backed key storage (private keys are stored in the iOS Secure Enclave chip — not on the device's main storage — so even a fully rooted device doesn't expose the keys). Android uses the Android Keystore for hardware-backed key storage (same hardware-isolation model on supported Android devices). The Chrome extension uses the OS-level keystore where available, with a fallback encrypted local file. The app supports biometric face / fingerprint unlock (iOS Face ID, Android fingerprint) before any sensitive operation. The app also has an app-level passcode (PIN) layer on top of the OS biometric, with a self-destruct option after N failed attempts.

Hardware-wallet integration (Ledger / Keystone / Trezor)

Bitget Wallet's mobile DApp browser has WalletConnect v2 support — meaning the user can connect an external hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor, Keystone 3 Pro, etc.) via WalletConnect to a desktop DApp that's accessed via the Bitget Wallet mobile DApp browser; or connect a Ledger / Trezor via the WalletConnect-compatible companion apps for those hardware wallets. This is a soft hardware-wallet integration (via WalletConnect), not a native hardware-wallet USB / NFC integration (the mobile app doesn't directly USB-connect to Ledger devices). For users who specifically want to pair a hardware wallet with Bitget Wallet's multi-chain coverage, the workflow is: pair the hardware wallet with its own companion app (Ledger Live, Trezor Suite, Keystone MetaMask companion), connect via WalletConnect to the relevant dApp, then optionally use Bitget Wallet's DApp browser as the intermediary. This is not a recommended workflow for cold-storage users — see the hardware wallets directory for Ledger Stax, Trezor Safe 5, Keystone 3 Pro, NGRAVE ZERO.

Audit & security incidents history

Bitget Wallet (as BitKeep) had a 2022 phishing attack in which the BitKeep browser wallet was exploited by a malicious BSC contract injected via a fake DApp in the wallet's DApp browser; user losses were eventually reimbursed by the Bitget-exchange financial backing once Bitget acquired BitKeep. After the acquisition, Bitget Wallet has been on a steady rebuild path with renewed security audits. Bitget publishes its Security technology portal + runs continuous bug-bounty + security-review programs. The 90M+ user count as of July 2026 is the strongest validation of the wallet's post-acquisition trust trajectory.

Fees & Pricing

Wallet download — free

The Bitget Wallet app is free to download on iOS App Store, Google Play, Android APK, and Chrome Web Store. No subscription fees. No monthly fees. The wallet's core features (swap, DApp browser, WalletConnect, multi-chain wallet, NFT management) are free.

Swap fees — 0.05%-0.5% aggregator commission

The Swap tab is a DEX aggregator. Bitget Wallet charges a small commission on top of the underlying DEX fee — typically 0.05-0.5% per swap (varies by chain + token pair + DEX). Plus the underlying DEX fee (e.g. Uniswap 0.05-0.30%, depending on the pool). Plus network gas. The total per-swap cost is shown transparently in the swap UI before the user confirms.

Buy crypto with fiat — 1.5%-5% processor fee

Buying crypto directly with fiat inside the Bitget Wallet app uses a fiat on-ramp processor (MoonPay / Simplex / Transak / Apple Pay / Google Pay / credit card / debit card / bank transfer). The processor fee typically ranges 1.5%-5% per transaction depending on the payment method (bank transfer cheapest, credit card most expensive). The fee is shown in the buy confirmation UI before the user completes.

Earn yield / staking fees — varies by product

The Earn (stablecoin yield + staking) tab has fees varying by product: staking fees typically 0% (just underlying validator commission, e.g. 5-15% depending on the chain); stablecoin-yield products sourced from Aave / Compound / lender protocols charge the underlying protocol's fee (typically 0.05-0.10% Aave fee + agent fee). Bitget Wallet does not separately charge on Earn yields — the user's effective yield is what the underlying protocol pays.

Bitget Card fees — depends on card tier

The Bitget Card fees (issuance fee, monthly fee, FX fee, ATM fee, top-up fee) depend on the Bitget Wallet card tier the user is approved for. See the Bitget VX tiers documentation on the Bitget Wallet app for current card fees (visible link: web3.bitget.com/en/card). Card requires KYC + jurisdiction eligibility (the card is not available in the US, Canada, and other restricted jurisdictions).

Predictions (prediction markets) — settlement fee

Betting on Bitget Wallet's Predictions tab may include a settlement / commission fee per outcome. For specific fee disclosures, see the predictions product's terms inside the app (web3.bitget.com/en/predictions).

Network gas — paid to chain, not Bitget

Each transaction requires network gas paid to the chain's validators — Bitget doesn't charge gas on behalf of users. Gas is shown transparently in the transaction-confirmation dialog before the user submits. With the wallet's gas-abstraction feature, the user can pay gas in any token (auto-swapped) instead of requiring the native gas token.

Supported Chains

Bitget Wallet supports 130+ mainnets and 6,000+ tokens in a single self-custodial wallet. Per the homepage stats card (July 2026): "80+ Mainnets • 6K+ Tokens • 90M+ Users" and the hero copy "130+ mainnets". The visible mainnets on the "Discover Web3 Assets" page include:

Visible mainnets (sample per homepage grid)

  • Bitcoin (BTC) — mainchain BTC + Lightning-compatible BTC wallets
  • Ethereum (ETH) — mainnet + all ERC-20 tokens
  • Solana (SOL) — mainnet + all SPL tokens + Solana NFTs
  • BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain) — mainnet + all BEP-20 tokens
  • Aptos (APT) — mainnet + all Aptos token standards (Aptos Coin + Fungible Asset)
  • Arbitrum — L2 + all Arbitrum-native tokens
  • Arweave (AR) — mainnet + Arweave weave storage tokens + AR-NS
  • Avalanche (AVAX) — C-Chain + all Avalanche-native tokens + Avalanche subnets
  • Bitget Huobi ECO Chain (HT) — mainnet
  • BitKeep Kava (KAVA) — mainnet (Kava EVM + Cosmos SDK dual)
  • BounceBit (BB) — mainnet + BB-native tokens
  • AI Coin Chain — mainnet (newer AI-themed L1)

Extended chain list (per homepage "80+ Mainnets" claim)

The wallet additionally supports additional mainnets (per homepage "80+ Mainnets" claim and the wallet's standard multi-chain wallet feature roadmap): Polygon, Optimism, Base, zkSync, Linea, Scroll, Mantle, Blast, Mode, Core, Celo, Gnosis, Fuse, Fantom / Sonic, Cronos, Moonbeam, Moonriver, Astar, Shiden, Metis, Arbitrum Nova, Gnosis Chain, Aurora (NEAR), Hedera, Filecoin, Akash, Sui, Cardano, Polkadot + Substrate / Kusama relay, Cosmos + all Cosmos SDK chains (Atom, Osmosis, dYdX, Injective, Celestia, Sei, Kujira, Stargaze, Juno, Kava, Axelar, Persistence, etc.), Optimism, and more — see the wallet's "View more" mainnets page (web3.bitget.com/wallet/mainnets) for the full chain list.

NFT support

Bitget Wallet has full NFT management: NFT viewing / sending / receiving / displaying on EVM chains (ERC-721, ERC-1155), Solana (Metaplex), Polygon, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and all major NFT ecosystems. NFTs can be displayed in wallet-native galleries on the iOS / Android app. Marketplace support via the wallet's DApp browser (OpenSea, Magic Eden, Tensor, etc.).

DApps & WalletConnect v2

The wallet's DApp browser + WalletConnect v2 gives access to thousands of dApps across 130+ chains — including Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Aave, Compound, Lido, Curve, Maker, 1inch, OpenSea, Magic Eden, Jupiter, Raydium, Ray, Ondo, Pendle, Eigenlayer, ENS, GMX, Aevo, dYdX, Jupiter, Hyperliquid, and many more. The wallet's Web3-ready dApps across EVM + Solana + Cosmos + Aptos is comprehensive — comparable dApp coverage to MetaMask + Trust Wallet.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • 130+ mainnets + 6,000+ tokens supported in a single self-custodial wallet — replaces the fragmented landscape of MetaMask (EVM) + Solflare (Solana) + Petra (Aptos) + Keplr (Cosmos) + UniSat (Bitcoin Ordinals) with one identity, one wallet, one DApp browser; this is the headline value of Bitget Wallet vs single-ecosystem wallets like MetaMask (EVM-only) or Solflare (Solana-only)
  • 90 million+ users — one of the largest self-custodial multi-chain Web3 wallets by user base, comparable in scale to Trust Wallet (100M+ users) and significantly larger than OKX Wallet / Phantom / Solflare / Petra / Keplr individually
  • Cross-chain DEX swap aggregator (best price across Uniswap, PancakeSwap, 1inch, 0x, Jupiter, Raydium, etc.) — best crypto-price routing across 130+ chains, with cross-chain swap functionality (USDC on Ethereum directly to SOL on Solana via integrated bridges / THORChain / LiFi)
  • Gas abstraction — pay gas in any token (not just the native gas token) — major UX win; user can pay gas in USDC instead of needing to hold MATIC on Polygon / ETH on Arbitrum
  • Built-in Earn — stablecoin yields + PoS staking, replaces the user's need to manually navigate to Aave / Lido / Compound / Curve / Pendle; comparable feature set to Trust Wallet's Earn product
  • Bitget Card — crypto debit card (apply inside the app) for spending crypto anywhere Visa / Mastercard is accepted; tighter Bitget-brand integration than third-party card integrations in Trust Wallet
  • Built-in Predictions + RWA + Altcoin Season Index — extended product surface that leans into Bitget's exchange-brand DNA (Bitget is one of the world's largest derivatives exchanges); high-value for crypto-native users who trade parity products
  • Multi-platform — iOS, Android, Android APK direct download, Chrome browser extension; same account + same seed phrase across all platforms (QR-code sync)
  • Open-source (partial — core security / signing code published open-source) — verifiable security for the core wallet code, comparable to Trust Wallet's partial-open-source model
  • Self-custodial — AES-256 encrypted local keystore, Secure Enclave / Android Keystore hardware-backed key storage, biometric face / fingerprint + PIN app-locked, transaction signing in-app; private keys never leave the device; Bitget Wallet has no access to user private keys or funds
  • Bitget Protection Fund + Bitget-exchange financial backing — Bitget (the parent exchange) operates a documented Protection Fund, providing consumer-trust / customer-support backing stronger than a standalone wallet startup
  • DApp browser + WalletConnect v2 — comprehensive dApp access across EVM + Solana + Cosmos + Aptos + 130+ chains; compare favorably dApp coverage to MetaMask + Trust Wallet
  • Bitget Exchange parent-company integration — instant crypto purchases with fiat inside the wallet app via Bitget's own exchange + third-party fiat on-ramps (MoonPay / Simplex / Transak / Apple Pay / Google Pay / credit / debit / bank)

Cons

  • Partial open-source — only the wallet's core security / signing code is open-source; the mobile-native SDK + closed-service integrations (Bitget Exchange, Bitget Card, Bitget Earn) are proprietary. Not a fully 100% open-source wallet in the model of Keystone 3 Pro (which has 100% open-source firmware)
  • Bitget brand association — the wallet is tightly integrated with Bitget (the crypto exchange). Users who specifically want to avoid exchange-affiliated wallets (e.g. privacy-conscious users who distrust KYC'd exchange brands) should choose a non-exchange-affiliated alternative like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, Rabby, Frame
  • 2022 BitKeep phishing history — the wallet (as BitKeep) suffered a 2022 phishing attack in which a malicious BSC contract was injected via a fake DApp in the DApp browser; user losses were reimbursed by Bitget-exchange backing after Bitget acquired BitKeep. Past breach recovery suggests the wallet is post-acquisition stable; users should still apply caution with DApp browser interactions + not approve unverified contract calls
  • Bitget Card KYC required — the Bitget Card requires user KYC + jurisdiction eligibility (not available in US, Canada, and other restricted jurisdictions). Card fees / tiers depend on Bitget VX tier; specific fee disclosures are inside the Bitget Wallet app
  • Predictions markets = higher-risk product — the built-in Predictions markets are directional-price bets with crypto settlement; users should be aware these are higher-risk gambling-style products not investment products
  • Referral-driven growth model — Bitget Wallet's on-ramp to 90M+ users has significant referral-code / marketing-driven acquisition (visible Bitget VX tier / referral codes in the wallet). User should verify that any referral code they provide doesn't include hidden commission / referral obligations on the referral's swaps / trading
  • Soft hardware-wallet integration only (via WalletConnect) — the wallet doesn't natively USB-connect or NFC-connect to hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor, Keystone 3 Pro). Hardware-wallet pairing works only via WalletConnect or pair-to-companion-app flow. Not recommended as a primary wallet for users who want cold-storage security (use Ledger Stax, Trezor Safe 5, Keystone 3 Pro, or NGRAVE ZERO for cold storage)
  • Customer support — Bitget Wallet customer support runs through Bitget's help center (web3.bitget.com/en/helpCenter) and may have varying response times for non-exchange-user issues. Standalone-wallet customer support (without a Bitget-exchange account) may be slower than for users who are also Bitget-exchange users

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bitget Wallet safe?

Bitget Wallet is a self-custodial multi-chain Web3 wallet. The wallet's private keys are stored AES-256 encrypted on the user's device (Secure Enclave on iOS, Android Keystore on Android). Bitget (the company) has no access to user private keys or funds. The wallet's app is biometric + PIN app-locked. The wallet's core security / signing code is published open-source for community audit. Bitget (the parent exchange) operates a documented Protection Fund. The biggest risks are (a) seed-phrase compromise (never share your seed phrase; store securely), (b) phishing / fake DApps in the DApp browser (only connect to verified dApps; do not approve unverified contract calls), and (c) lost-and-lost backup (if the user loses both the device AND the seed-phrase backup, the wallet is unrecoverable). Past security history: Bitget Wallet (as BitKeep) suffered a 2022 phishing attack — user losses were reimbursed by Bitget-exchange backing. The wallet is post-acquisition stable.

Is Bitget Wallet the same as the Bitget exchange?

No. Bitget Wallet is a separate self-custodial multi-chain Web3 wallet product. Bitget (the exchange) is one of the world's largest crypto derivatives exchanges. Bitget (the exchange) acquired BitKeep (the predecessor wallet) in 2023 and rebranded it as Bitget Wallet. Bitget Wallet is integrated with Bitget exchange (instant crypto purchases with fiat inside the wallet app use Bitget's exchange + third-party fiat on-ramps), but the wallet's private keys are non-custodial — the user controls them, not the exchange. Bitget Wallet inherits Bitget's brand + financial backing + Protection Fund, but operates as a separate product with separate security, account, and feature surface.

What chains does Bitget Wallet support?

How does Bitget Wallet compare to Trust Wallet, MetaMask, OKX Wallet, and Phantom?

Bitget Wallet vs Trust Wallet: Both multi-chain self-custodial wallets with similar feature sets (swap, stake, DApp, NFT, Buy). Bitget Wallet has 90M+ users vs Trust Wallet ~100M+. Bitget's parent-exchange integration is tighter than Trust Wallet's on-ramp integration. Trust Wallet is broader in standalone brand recognition. Bitget Wallet vs MetaMask: MetaMask is EVM-only; Bitget Wallet covers EVM + Solana + Cosmos + Aptos + 130+ mainnets. MetaMask is the gold standard for EVM dApp access and has way more dApp integrations; Bitget Wallet has broader chain coverage but slightly fewer dApp integrations. Bitget Wallet vs OKX Wallet: Both exchange-affiliated self-custodial wallets. OKX Wallet OKX-exchange-affiliated; Bitget Wallet Bitget-exchange-affiliated. Similar feature sets; OKX Wallet less focused on multi-chain coverage, more focused on OKX-ecosystem integrations. Bitget Wallet vs Phantom: Phantom is the Solana-native gold-standard wallet; Bitget Wallet is the all-chains-in-one wallet. If Solana is your primary use-case, Phantom has tighter integrations. If you want EVM + Solana + Cosmos + Aptos in one wallet, Bitget Wallet + Trust Wallet are the leading picks.

Does Bitget Wallet have a crypto card?

Yes — Bitget Wallet offers a crypto debit card (visible at web3.bitget.com/en/card). The card requires KYC + jurisdiction eligibility (the card is not available in the US, Canada, and other restricted jurisdictions). The card lets users spend crypto anywhere Visa / Mastercard is accepted. Card tiers / fees depend on Bitget VX tier. Apply for the card directly inside the Bitget Wallet app. See our full crypto cards directory at /best-crypto-cards for a side-by-side comparison of crypto card providers.

Is there a Bitget Wallet Chrome extension?

Yes — Bitget Wallet has a Chrome browser extension (available in the Chrome Web Store at chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bitget-wallet/jiidiaalihmmhddjgbnbgdfflelocpak). The Chrome extension has the full feature set: multi-chain wallet, cross-chain DEX swap aggregator, DApp browser, WalletConnect v2, NFT management. The same account + same seed phrase syncs across the Chrome extension, iOS app, Android app, and Android APK QR-code scanning. The Chrome extension experience is comparable to MetaMask's Chrome extension.

Does Bitget Wallet support Bitcoin Ordinals + BRC-20?

Bitget Wallet has broad Bitcoin ecosystem support — BTC mainnet wallet + BTC Lightning-compatible wallets are visible in the wallet's Bitcoin mainnet page. For Bitcoin Ordinals + BRC-20 specifically, Bitget Wallet's built-in DApp browser + WalletConnect v2 supports UniSat (the de facto Ordinals + BRC-20 wallet) via WalletConnect. For a wallet that natively ord-inscribes + sends + receives Ordinals + BRC-20 from inside the wallet, UniSat or Xverse wallet is the gold standard. Bitget Wallet is one of the few multi-chain wallets that includes Bitcoin-supporting dApps via the DApp browser.

Is Bitget Wallet open source?

Per the Bitget Wallet homepage tagline (July 2026): 'Open source.' The wallet's core security / signing code is published open-source for community audit + review. The mobile-native SDK + the closed-service integrations (Bitget Exchange integration, Bitget Card integration, Bitget Earn integration, Bitget Predictions integration) are proprietary (not open-source). This is a partial-open-source model — same model as Trust Wallet, OKX Wallet, Phantom (all of which publish their core security code open-source but keep service integrations proprietary). For users who specifically want a 100%-open-source wallet with no proprietary code, MetaMask (MIT licensed) and Rabby are fully-open-source software wallets, and Keystone 3 Pro is 100% open-source firmware hardware wallet.

Is there a Bitget Wallet hardware-wallet integration?

Bitget Wallet's mobile DApp browser has WalletConnect v2 — this lets the user connect an external hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor, Keystone 3 Pro, NGRAVE ZERO) via WalletConnect to a desktop DApp accessed via Bitget Wallet's mobile DApp browser, or via the Ledger Live Mobile / Trezor Suite Mobile companion app integration. This is a soft hardware-wallet integration (via WalletConnect) — not a native hardware-wallet USB / NFC integration. For users who specifically want cold-storage security, Bitget Wallet itself is not a cold wallet. Use Ledger Stax, Trezor Safe 5, Keystone 3 Pro, or NGRAVE ZERO directly paired with the hardware wallet's own companion app for cold-storage transactions. Use Bitget Wallet only as your hot / DApp browsing wallet; pair it with the cold wallet via WalletConnect for highest-value transactions.
